Josh Fix

Josh Fix is a South African-born American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. In 2008 Fix released his self-produced debut album "Free At Last", which saw limited distribution but nevertheless garnered praise in the press, and, among other accolades, found itself on Time Out New York's "Best Rock Albums of 2008" list. Associate Editor Hank Shteamer called Fix a "post-Radiohead Elton John [who] obliterated slacker chic with a virtuosically glossy piano-pop opus."

Fix's most recent release, a mini-album "This Town Is Starting To Make Me Angry" (2009) was released in Europe through British indie label Lojinx.

In 2009 he wrote the official theme for And Another Thing..., the sixth installment of Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy."

The song "Barely Insane" was used in the Season 2 episode of 90210 "And Away They Go."

"Fix" is a song performed by American contemporary R&B group Blackstreet, originally appearing as the fourth track on their second studio album Another Level. A remixed version of the song was issued as the third single from the album and features American rock band Fishbone, as well as a rap by American hip hop musician Ol' Dirty Bastard and ad-libs by American guitarist Slash. The song peaked at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997.

The album version of the song contains a sample of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five; and the song was later sampled in "Jambo 1997" by Tonex. The physical single contains an excerpt of "Man Behind the Music" by Queen Pen.

Fix is a 2008 feature film directed by Tao Ruspoli starring Shawn Andrews, Olivia Wilde, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Tao Ruspoli, Dedee Pfeiffer and Andrew Fiscella.

Plot

Racing across Los Angeles in one, unwieldy day, documentary filmmakers Bella and Milo race from Beverly Hills to Watts and places in between to get Milo's brother Leo from jail to rehab before 8pm, or Leo goes to prison for three years. A story inspired by true events, the trio documents their trip from a suburban police station in Calabasas through mansions in Beverly Hills, East LA chop-shops, rural wastelands, and housing projects in Watts as they attempt to raise the $5,000 required to get Leo into the rehab clinic.

Along the way encountering dozens of colorful characters, each with their own anomalous perspective on Leo's larger than life personality and style, and each with their own excuse for why they cannot help out. In the end, it may take a drug deal to get the necessary funds for rehab.

Plot

Tabloid TV reporter Judy Warren (Kate Vernon) knows she's come across a big story when she sees the videotape shot by two tourists in a remote Alaskan park. The tape shows Josh Butler, a recluse who lives in a cabin near the park, bringing back to life a young girl who has died after a fall, a feat he accomplishes by generating a mysterious blue glow. But, she only discovers how big a story it is when her pursuit of the strange young man is cut short by a top-secret military unit that is also chasing him.

It seems that the blue glow sent out electromagnetic pulses that knocked out two satellites orbiting 20,000 miles above the Earth, and the Air Force wants to know what's going on. A battery of tests doesn't produce any answers, leaving the brass, led by Col. Roger Tennent and Major Samuel Harbeck, to debate whether Butler is an alien or an angel — someone to be dissected or to be worshipped. Warren doesn't know what Josh is either, but she knows she doesn't trust the soldiers to make the right choice. This prompts her to try to save the recluse. The episode ends with Josh ascending back to his planet while Judy chooses to destroy this information rather than divulge it.

Josh is a Bengali film released on 30 July 2010, directed by Ravi Kinagi. It is a remake of Ravi Teja's superhit Telugu film Bhadra released in 2005.

Plot

Indra (Jeet) and Rajib (Anshuman) are the thickest of friends studying in the same college. When Indra comes to the city to visit Rajib, Indra notices Rajib's sister, Anu (Srabanti Chatterjee), and is attracted to her instantly. When Rajib visits his home village, Indra visits along with him. Anu, who returns from Singapore, is impressed by Indra, who continually impresses her, based on her tastes. He gets along well with Rajib's and Anu's family, in the meanwhile convinces them that he would make a prospective groom for Anu.

Anu's family, mainly her brother and cousin, are involved in regional gangs in their village. When Anu takes out Indra to the temple for a visit, without the knowledge of their brother (Tapas Paul), Anu is then attacked by Rudra's brother Nikhil (Bharat Kaul) gets hold of Anu and threatens to kill Anu. In a swift action of bravery and skill, Indra knocks down Rudra's brother.
