Jonathan Zongo

Jonathan Sundy Zongo (born 6 April 1989) is a Burkinabé professional footballer who plays for Spanish club UD Almería as a winger or forward.

Club career

Born in Ouagadougou, Zongo began his career with hometown club US Ouagadougou. In October 2010, aged not yet 18, he moved to Spain and joined UD Almería, being initially assigned to the reserve team in the third division. One month after arriving he suffered a knee injury, going on to miss several weeks.

Zongo made his official debut with the Andalusians' main squad on 13 January 2011, coming on as a second-half substitute for Kalu Uche in a 1–0 home win against Deportivo de La Coruña for the season's Copa del Rey. He played his first game in the second level on 29 January of the following year, against Gimnàstic de Tarragona.

Again coming from the bench, Zongo scored his first goals for Almería on 19 May, netting a late brace in a 2–0 home success over AD Alcorcón. For the 2012–13 season he was promoted to the first team and appeared mostly from the bench in early games; however, in January, after the departures of Aarón Ñíguez and Leonardo Ulloa, he began being more utilized in manager Javi Gracia's starting XI, as a winger.

Zongo

Zongo is a city in Sud-Ubangi District in Équateur Province in the northwestern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, lying on the south bank of the Ubangi River, across from Bangui in the Central African Republic. It is linked by ferry to Bangui but has declined in importance as a transport hub since much traffic moved east in the late 1980s.

By the end of the First Congo War, the city was controlled by the Movement for the Liberation of Congo. In 2001 the city saw an influx of refugees from the Central African Republic, the government of which alleged former soldiers among them were behind an attempted coup in Bangui in 2002.

During the 2012-13 Central African Republic conflict, refugees from the Central African Republic capital of Bangui, including many family members of President François Bozizé, fled here after the capital fell to Séléka rebels on 24 March 2013.

Large Martian craters (greater than 60 km in diameter) are named after famous scientists and science fiction authors; smaller ones (less than 60 km in diameter) get their names from towns on Earth. Craters cannot be named for living people, and small crater names are not intended to be commemorative - that is, a small crater isn't actually named after a specific town on Earth, but rather its name comes at random from a pool of terrestrial place names, with some exceptions made for craters near landing sites. Latitude and longitude are given as planetographic coordinates with west longitude.
