Jonathan Tisch
Jonathan M. Tisch (born December 7, 1953) is Chairman of Loews Hotels, as well as being Co-Chairman of the Board and Member of the Office of the President of Loews Corporation, its parent company. He is the son of founder Robert Tisch.
Corporate positions
Tisch is Chairman Emeritus of the United States Travel Association (U.S. Travel), a travel industry lobbying group, a trustee of Tufts University, and a board member of the Tribeca Film Institute. He is a co-owner, a member of the board of directors, and treasurer of the New York Giants Football Team. He served as co-chairman of the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee.
Biography
As CEO of Loews Hotels beginning in 1989, Tisch initiated the Loews Hotels Good Neighbor Policy over 20 years ago, one of the first of its kind in the hospitality industry. The Loews Good Neighbor Policy is a recipient of the U.S. President’s Service Award from the Points of Light Foundation.
Tisch serves as Chairman Emeritus the U.S. Travel Association, the national non-profit association representing all segments of the multi-billion dollar travel industry. For six years, he served as Chairman of NYC & Company, the city’s official tourism marketing agency and convention and visitors bureau.
