John Lewis "Johnny" Hart (February 18, 1931 – April 7, 2007) was an American cartoonist noted as the creator of the comic strips B.C. and Wizard of Id. Brant Parker co-produced and illustrated Wizard of Id. Hart was recognized with several awards, including the Swedish Adamson Award and five from the National Cartoonists Society. In his later years, he sparked controversy by incorporating overtly Christian themes and messages into the strips. Hart was referred to as "the most widely read Christian of our time," over C. S. Lewis, Frank Peretti, and Billy Graham, by Chuck Colson in a Breakpoint column.
Born in Endicott, New York, Hart's first published work was in Stars and Stripes while he served in Korea as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force. Returning in 1953, he published cartoons in The Saturday Evening Post, Collier's Weekly and other magazines. His pre-cartooning employment included working in a barbecue restaurant and sign painting. Hart's biggest success, B.C., was created in 1957 and began national daily newspapers appearances on February 17, 1958. Hart also co-created and wrote the comic strip The Wizard of Id, drawn by Brant Parker, which has been distributed since November 9, 1964.
John Paul Hart (born 8 June 1928) is an English former football player and manager.
Golborne-born Hart played for Manchester City as an inside-forward in 169 Football League matches, between 1947 and 1960, scoring 67 goals. He succeeded Malcolm Allison as the club's manager for six months - from close to the end of the 1972-1973 season (30 March 1973) until the beginning of the 1973-1974 season (22 October 1973) - before being forced to retire following a pancreatic attack.
His son, Paul, became a centre-half and he has also followed his father into management.
Johnny Hart (1 October 1888 – 20 February 1966) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
I put a for sale sign on the front of my truck
Said call anytime cause I'm always up
Make an offer, one that I won't refuse
I bought a one way ticket on a west bound plane
Four hours later I was wearing shades in California
Just hanging loose
I didn't pack one memory
Oh and even though i'm free
I can go where I wanna go
Do what I wanna do
Be who I wanna be
But baby
You still own me
Say what I wanna say
Hear what I wanna hear
Dream what I wanna dream
But baby
You still own me
I was up all night cause I couldn't sleep
Instead of staring at the ceiling I hit the beach
I took a long walk, it didn't help me much
Sat down in the sand with a handful of shells
Kicked off my shoes while me myself and I watched
The sun come up
Looking out across the sea
It's finally dawned on me
(Repeat Chorus)
Maybe I'm not in your arms
But you still own my heart
