"John" is a song by American rapper Lil Wayne, and the second single from his album Tha Carter IV. The song features rapper Rick Ross, and it peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. "John" was released on March 24, 2011, on iTunes. The song uses the hook from Rick Ross' song "I'm Not a Star" from his album Teflon Don. The song title refers to musician John Lennon. Lil Wayne performed the song at 2011's MTV Video Music Awards to the riff of Black Sabbath song, Iron Man.

The music video was released on VEVO on May 12, 2011. Birdman makes an appearance in the video, which was directed by Colin Tilley, who directed Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now," which also featured Wayne.

On May 11, rapper Ace Hood released a freestyle over the beat of "John," which was off his "Body Bag Vol. 1" mixtape. Another rapper Wiz Khalifa released a remix to "John" titled "Chuck". Rapper Chamillionaire freestyled a verse along with the original lyrics on his Badass Freemixes 2 mixtape. On December 26, Lil Wyte also released his own version on his Wyte Christmas mixtape. Forth (1826 ship)

The Forth was a 369-ton sailing ship built in 1826 at Leith, Scotland.

On her first convict voyage, under the command of J. Robertson and surgeon J. Cook, she sailed from Cork, Ireland on 3 June 1830, with 120 female convicts. Forth arrived at Port Jackson on 12 October 1830. No convicts died on the voyage. Forth left Port Jackson on 20 February 1831 bound for London with a cargo of merchandise. During her second convict voyage, under the command of Henry Hutton and surgeon Thomas Robertson, she sailed from Cork, Ireland on 21 October 1834, with 196 male convicts. Forth arrived at Port Jackson on 3 February 1835. One male convict died on the voyage. Forth left Port Jackson on 28 February 1835 bound for Manilla in ballast.

River Forth

The River Forth (Gaelic: Abhainn Dubh, meaning "black river", in the upper reach above Stirling, and Uisge For in the tidal reach below Stirling), 47 km (29 mi) long, is the major river draining the eastern part of the central belt of Scotland.

The Forth rises in Loch Ard in the Trossachs, a mountainous area some 30 km (19 mi) west of Stirling. It flows roughly eastward, through Aberfoyle, joining with the Duchray Water and Kelty Water, and out over the flat expanse of the Flanders Moss. It is then joined by the River Teith (which itself drains Loch Venachar, Loch Lubnaig, Loch Katrine, and Loch Voil) and the River Allan, before meandering through the ancient city of Stirling. At Stirling the river widens and becomes tidal, and it is here that the last (seasonal) ford of the river exists. From Stirling, the Forth flows east over the Carse of Stirling and past the towns of Cambus (where it is joined by the river Devon), Alloa, Fallin and Airth. Upon reaching Kincardine the river begins to widen into an estuary, the Firth of Forth.

Forth 1

Forth 1 is a Scottish local radio station, broadcasting to Lothian and Fife, and based in Forth Street in Edinburgh's city centre. The station plays a variety of music, mainly Top 40, but older tunes are also inserted into the playlist. The station is owned & operated by Bauer Radio and forms part of Bauer's City 1 network of stations.

History

Radio Forth was launched on 22 January 1975 by current chairman Richard Findlay. His opening speech included "This, for the very first time is Radio Forth". Steve Hamilton was the first on-air presenter, hosting the breakfast show.

In 1990, Forth was forced to create a new station on its AM frequency. Before this, Radio Forth was broadcast as a single station on both FM and AM frequencies. The FM station was renamed Radio Forth RFM (later simplified to Forth FM) with Donny Hughes broadcasting the first Breakfast Show from the newly revamped Studio F in Forth House. The new AM station became "Max AM" which was later renamed Forth AM to match its sister station.
