John DeSantis
John DeSantis (born January 21, 1977) is a Canadian actor, perhaps best known as Lurch on Fox Family's television of The New Addams Family. This role was originally portrayed by American actor, Ted Cassidy. His other work includes a principal role in Disney's Touchstone Pictures film The 13th Warrior, in which he played a Viking warrior named Ragnar the Dour. He has also appeared in the television series Police Academy. DeSantis is 206 cm (6' 9") tall. Prior to his acting career, he served for two years in the Canadian Army. He has been recognised as one of the tallest Canadian actors.
