Jin Air
Jin Air Co. Ltd (Hangul: 진에어; RR: Jin E-eo) is a low cost airline originating from South Korea, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Korean Air.
History
Jin Air began operations in July 2008 with routes to regional destinations in Korea. In October 2009, Jin Air began flights to Macau, Guam and Bangkok. The name "Jin Air" was officially announced on June 15, 2008 at an opening ceremony in Seoul. It has its headquarters in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The inaugural flight was between Seoul's Gimpo International Airport and Jeju International Airport on July 17, 2008 using a Boeing 737-800.

Fleet
Jin Air started its operation with 4 Boeing 737-800s from Korean Air, seating 189 passengers in a 1-class arrangement. It planned to expand its fleet to 2 A300-600Rs by April 2009, but this was canceled. In 2014, the Boeing 777-200ER was introduced as well, with one used aircraft being transferred from Korean Air in December.
