Keohane made his professional debut on 24 August 2011, in the League Cup 3–1 defeat to Liverpool at St James Park, coming on as a first-half substitute for the injured Guillem Bauzà.
After the break, Amond couldn’t truly test Watts with a close-range free-kick, while Jimmy Keohane almost found an opening in the opposition box but the Blues did just enough to clear their lines.
