Keohane made his professional debut on 24 August 2011, in the League Cup 3–1 defeat to Liverpool at St James Park, coming on as a first-half substitute for the injured Guillem Bauzà.
After the break, Amond couldn’t truly test Watts with a close-range free-kick, while Jimmy Keohane almost found an opening in the opposition box but the Blues did just enough to clear their lines.
Right at the death United went close to stealing all three points as Jimmy Keohane got behind the Derry defence, but his close range shot was saved by an out-rushing Brian Maher.
