Jigsaw is a fictional character, a supervillain and archenemy of the Marvel Comics antihero the Punisher. He was created by Len Wein and Ross Andru, and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #162 (November 1976)

Publication history

Jigsaw debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #162–163, returning in The Amazing Spider-Man #188, and The Punisher #1 and #4–5. Jigsaw then allied with the Rev in The Punisher Vol. 2, #35–40, and Gregario in #55–56. Following a cameo appearance in The Punisher War Journal #61, Jigsaw's origin was detailed in Issues #3–4 of the prequel limited series The Punisher: Year One, and he furthered bedeviled the Punisher in Punisher Vol. 3, #2–4 and #9–10.

Proceeding an encounter with the eponymous character in Daredevil Vol. 2, #61–64, Jigsaw appeared in The New Avengers #1–3, #35, #46, #50, #57, and The New Avengers Annual #2; concurrent to his appearances in that title, Jigsaw also starred in Punisher War Journal Vol. 2, #11, #18–20, and #22–23. He was then featured in the five-issue miniseries Punisher: In the Blood, and made a subsequent cameo in the Thunderbolts Vol. 2 Annual.

Jigsaw (Australian game show)

Jigsaw is an Australian television series which aired 1965 on the Australian Television Network, which later became the Seven Network. Hosted by Billy Raymond, it was a daytime game show aired in a 30-minute time-slot. (Running time excluding commercials is not known. Though a prime-time series of the era could run 24–25 minutes, daytime series tended to run shorter). The series was produced in Sydney. It ran for 24 weeks.

Camp Lakebottom

Camp Lakebottom is a Canadian animated series produced by 9 Story Media Group that premiered on Teletoon in Canada on July 4, 2013 and on Disney XD in the United States on July 13, 2013. The series airs on Disney Channels worldwide (except Portugal, where it instead airs on Biggs, and Southeast Asia including Liv and Maddie), as well as ABC in Australia.

On April 7, 2014, Teletoon has renewed the show for a second season of another 26 episodes.

Plot

McGee boards the wrong summer camp bus and has all sorts of adventures in a camp called Camp Lakebottom, while trying to protect the camp from his nemesis Jordan Buttsquat at Camp Sunny Smiles.

Pornograffitti

Extreme II: Pornograffitti (A Funked Up Fairy Tale) is the second album released by the Boston rock band Extreme. The title is a portmanteau of pornography and graffiti.

The album sold very well, peaking at #10 on the Billboard 200, and was certified double platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA. It is the band's best selling album. Two singles from Pornograffiti, "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted", reached the top-5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Two other tracks, "Decadence Dance" and "Get the Funk Out", reached the lower half of Billboard's rock chart.

In 2010, after the band's reunion in the previous years, rumours started about possible commemorative shows given the 20th anniversary of the record. In 2012, a small string of such shows in Japan was announced. In January 2014, the band confirmed they would be performing Pornograffiti in its entirety on their 2014 Europe and UK tour.

Musical style

Musically, Pornograffitti is dominated by hard rock guitar riffs, often with funky, syncopated timing, and fast soloing. Bettencourt was named "Most Valuable Player" of 1991 by Guitar World magazine, and the album gained Bettencourt widespread admiration from rock guitar enthusiasts and continual exposure in other guitar playing publications such as Guitar School.
