Jessy Hodges

Jessy Hodges is an American actress. She is best known as the role of Sophie Parker in the web series Anyone But Me.

Biography

Currently living in Los Angeles, California, Hodges originally comes from Huntington Woods, Michigan. She studied Drama at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. About her acting career, Hodges explains that she was very involved in theater at the early years of her life with a strong connection to her mother. Her mother Ellen Sandweiss went to school for theater and was an actress herself, too. Hodges and her mother starred in the same movie together. She has appeared in several theatres, dramas, and films.

On her work in the critically acclaimed web series Anyone But Me, Hodges was nominated in the Breakthrough Performance category of Indie Soap Awards. The storyline pertinent to her character Sophie's sexual questioning was nominated for Best Storyline in the same year.

In 2013, Hodges is featured in Chris Lowell's directorial debut Beside Still Waters.

Hodges has also appeared in the seventh episode of Grey's Anatomy's season 9 as a guest star.

Ye Maaya Chesave

Ye Maaya Chesave (English: What Magic Have You Done?) is a 2010 Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Menon, with dialogues by Umarji Anuradha. The film stars Naga Chaitanya and debutant Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. It was produced by Manjula Ghattamaneni under the banner Indira Productions and features a critically acclaimed soundtrack ad background score composed by A. R. Rahman. Other credits include cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, dialogues by Umarji Anuradha and editing by Anthony Gonsalves.

The film was shot along with the Tamil version Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa which was shot first with a completely different cast and climax. The television rights were sold to Zee Telugu. This film is Menon's second Telugu venture, after the critically successful Gharshana.

Upon release the music, scored by two-time Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman, became a huge success and gained Cult status over the years. Apart from highly successful soundtrack, the Background Score of the film is hailed as one of Rahman's best works.
