Jenny (film)
Jenny is a 1970 film starring Marlo Thomas and Alan Alda, released by ABC Pictures. The film was rated "M" for "Mature Audiences." Singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson provided Jenny 's theme song, "Waiting".
Plot
Marlo Thomas plays the title role; a young small-town woman, who moves away to the city when she becomes pregnant through a one-night stand. She meets film director Delano (Alda), who has received a draft notice and does not want to be inducted into the Army. Jenny and Delano take a liking to each other. Learning that an acquaintance got out of having to serve by having a baby on the way, Delano offers to marry Jenny, claim paternity and support her baby, if she in turn will play along, and he can avoid being drafted.
The movie follows the months until Jenny's baby is born, and the ups and downs of their in-name-only marriage (including a visit back to her family and hometown, and his ongoing relationship with another woman), as Delano and Jenny await the outcome of his draft case.

Origins and history
Though not exactly labelled as such, there were early precedents for "television movies", such as Talk Faster, Mister, which aired on WABD (now WNYW) in New York City on December 18, 1944, and was produced by RKO Pictures, or the 1957 The Pied Piper of Hamelin, based on the poem by Robert Browning, and starring Van Johnson, one of the first filmed "family musicals" made directly for television. That film was made in Technicolor, a first for television, which ordinarily used color processes originated by specific networks (most "family musicals" of the time, such as Peter Pan, were not filmed but broadcast live and preserved on kinescope, a recording of a television program made by filming the picture from a video monitor – and the only method of recording a television program until the invention of videotape).

Jenny is a 1958 Dutch film directed by Willy van Hemert. It is a remake of the 1932 German film Eight Girls in a Boat. The movie is known as the first Dutch film in color, the production
The film is about Jenny, a happy 18-year-old girl who loves rowing. She gets unexpectedly pregnant by her boyfriend Ed, who then leaves her. She must make a difficult decision, but everything comes to good ends.

Jennifer Serrano
Jennifer Serrano, better known as Jenny, is a Spanish singer.
She was born in Mieres, Asturias, Spain, and is a student of music under Helen Rowson in Barcelona. She is a new artist in both Spain and Andorra, with no previous commercial success in either country. Previously, she was a waitress. Jenny performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Andorra, singing the song "Sense Tu", written by Rafael Artesero. The song was competing in the semi-finals and for a place in the finals on 20 May, out of the 23 nations competing, Jenny finished last collecting just 8 points, all from Spain, thus not qualifying for the finals.
