Jennifer Lackey

Jennifer Lackey is a professor of philosophy at Northwestern University. She is known for her research in epistemology, especially on testimony,disagreement,memory, the norms of assertion, and virtue epistemology. She is the author of Learning from Words: Testimony as a Source of Knowledge and of numerous articles and book chapters. She is also co-editor of The Epistemology of Testimony and The Epistemology of Disagreement: New Essays.

Education

Lackey graduated from Saint Mary's College in 1994 with a B.A. in philosophy and from the University of Chicago in 1995 with an M.A. in philosophy. In 2000, she graduated from Brown University with a Ph.D. in philosophy under the supervision of Ernest Sosa.

Jennifer is the third album by singer Jennifer Warnes, released on the Reprise Records label in 1972. It was produced by former The Velvet Underground member John Cale.

It sold poorly and was deleted in 1973 or 1974 and remained completely unavailable until 2013 when Japanese Reprise finally reissued it on CD (WPCR-14865).

Plot

Agnes Langley (Ida Lupino) is down on her luck and is hired by Lorna Gale (Mary Shipp) to replace the "missing" Jennifer as caretaker for the currently mysterious Southern California unoccupied estate. Langley finds a diary and becomes obsessed with Jennifer and her "disappearance". She takes on a mission to find out what actually happened to the other woman.

Lackey moth

The lackey moth (Malacosoma neustria) is common across southern Britain and central Europe. Malacosoma species are notable for their caterpillars which are brightly coloured and form silken tents to regulate their temperature. Malacosoma neustria caterpillars are brown with blue, orange and white stripes. The adults are a fairly uniform brown. The larvae feed mainly on trees and shrubs from within their tents.

Distribution and habitat

The lackey moth is widely distributed across Europe, Asia and North Africa. Its habitat is the edges of woodland, bushy grassland, coppices, hedgerows and road verges. The caterpillar's food plants include apple, pear, plum, willow, hornbeam, lime and oak.
