Jean Rioux (born June 9, 1953) is an educator, businessman and Quebec politician, currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Saint-Jean as a member of the Liberal Party of Canada. He previously represented Iberville in the Quebec National Assembly from 2003 to 2007 as a Liberal.
He was born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, the son of Richard Rioux and Janine Vincent, and was educated at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and the Université Laval. Rioux taught history and economics in Marcellin-Champagnat secondary school in Iberville. He served on the municipal council for Iberville from 1991 to 1995 and was mayor from 1995 to 2001. Rioux was defeated when he ran for reelection in 2007.
Rioux stood as the Liberal Party of Canada's candidate for Saint-Jean in the 2015 federal election, and won.

Erin Rioux (pronounced ree-yoo) is an electronic psychedelic record producer, vocalist, and curator based in Brooklyn, NY who makes music under the stage name Rioux. His work merges technology with traditional instrumentation, particularly guitar and bass guitar, to create a rhythmic yet cerebral sonic environment.
Originally from the Metro-Detroit, MI area Rioux now resides in Brooklyn, NY where he also runs his own event series and record label for electronic music called Connect. In 2011 he released his first full-length LP, Everything You Need Is Right Here and in the following year he released his critically acclaimed EP Come On All You Ghosts which featured the single 'Find the Reason'.
Late in 2012 Rioux began his multimedia event series, Connect, which celebrates artistic innovation across different mediums and in electronic music. Early in 2014 Rioux expanded the event series into a record label focusing on electronic music. In 2014 Rioux released a string of singles including 'Trails,' 'Maze1,' and 'Lucifer,' which then culminated into his System Preferences EP with the final single 'Tree Torrent.' Rioux collaborated with digital media artist Cabbibo in creating a virtual environment for the EP.
