Jaya Mayu (Quechua jaya pungency, locoto, mayu river) is a Bolivian river in the Cochabamba Department, Esteban Arce Province, Anzaldo Municipality. Jaya Mayu is a left tributary of Caine River.
The Mayu is a river in Rakhine State, Myanmar (Burma). It and the surrounding region, known as the Mayu region, is named after the nearby Mayu Mountain. It was formerly known as the Manlayuwaddy River. It is the third most used river in Rakhine State, and is 96 miles (154 kilometers) long and drains into the Bay of Bengal, near Sittwe. It passes through Buthidaung, Rathedaung and Sittwe Township.

María Luisa Ramsey (born March 21, 1970), better known mononymously as Jaya, is a Filipina soul music singer, rapper, dancer, record producer, presenter, and actress of mixed Visayan and Jamaican descent. She is a contract artist of GMA Artist Center. She is the first Filipino recording artist to chart in the United States, as her debut single "If You Leave Me Now" peaked at 44 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
María Luisa Ramsey was born on March 21, 1970 in Manila, Philippines. Her mother is Elizabeth Ramsey, a Filipino comedienne and singer of Jamaican descent. Ramsey's father is Ray Kagahastian, a Filipino. Her parents separated when she was young, while her father migrated to the United States. He now resides in Alberta, Canada.
She started show business at the age of ten as a backup dancer of her mother. Directed by the duo of Ratnaraj-Kalanathan, 'Jaya' is produced by R.C. Venkatadri for Ratna Films. The story centers round the murder of a college student and the hunt for her killer by her friend and senior Jaya. Ramya Krishnan plays Jaya and Sherin plays Preithy, the murdered girl. A set resembling a college auditorium was erected at a cost of about Rs. 10 lakhs at a studio in Chennai. It was a college scene, celebrating the International Women's day, that was shot. The variety programme had a dance item by Jaya, Preithy and gang.
