Jatt & Juliet 2 (Punjabi: ਜੱਟ ਐੰਡ ਜੂਲੀਅਟ-੨) is a 2013 Punjabi romance comedy film directed by Anurag Singh. The film is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Jatt & Juliet, however not directly or story-wise. Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa reprise their roles from the previous film in the sequel amongst other characters. The film released on 28 June 2013, almost a year after the release of the prequel, and received a positive response at the box office. Jatt & Juliet 2 went on to become the highest-grossing Punjabi film ever, thus beating the record previously held by the first Jatt & Juliet film. Jatt and Juliet 2 will be the first ever Punjabi movie to be released on Blu-ray.
Fateh Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) is a Punjab police constable that desperately wants a promotion. Because of this, he accepts Deputy Commissioner request backed up by Inspector Singh's (Jaswinder Bhalla) to fly to Canada to retrieve his daughter, Pooja Singh (Neeru Bajwa). Fateh assumes that this will be an easy task and on reaching Vancouver starts his mission to bring Pooja back but mistakes Pooja's friend working in a parlour as Pooja herself but is dismayed when Pooja ends up being a "by the books" officer with the Vancouver Police Department who has left the parlour sometime back because of the Police Job. Fateh in order to bring her back and to avoid deputation back to India helps Pooja to convince her Mother in getting herself roped with a white man in marriage bond whom Pooja likes. This clashes with his irreverent and unsophisticated personality, but soon the two begin to find themselves drawn to one another.
Juliet Capulet is the female protagonist and one of two title characters in William Shakespeare's romantic love tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is the only daughter of Capulet, the patriarch of the Capulet family. The story has a long history that precedes Shakespeare himself.
The play takes place over a time span of four days. Within these few days, Juliet is thrust into adulthood quickly—where she must deal with issues of life, romance, love, passion, and even death. During the play she is courted by a potential husband (Count Paris), strongly falls romantically in love with another (Romeo), marries Romeo secretly, experiences the death of her first cousin Tybalt, has one brief passionate, romantic night with her new husband before he is forced to leave the city, is threatened by her father and nearly disowned by both of her parents for refusing to marry the man they have chosen for her, she is let down emotionally by the nurse who raised her from infancy, spends nearly two days drugged to unconsciousness, is widowed, and ultimately commits suicide near the body of her dead husband.
Juliet Richardson (born January 1, 1980, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American singer, known as Juliet, best known for her 2005 album Random Order and hit single "Avalon".
A resident of Shamong Township, New Jersey, she is a graduate of Life Center Academy in Burlington, New Jersey.
Her recording debut was in 2000 as the singer for 1 plus 1. Their single "Cherry Bomb" from the Elektra Records album of the same title reached the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in 2001, as well as the Top 50 in the Dance chart.
Despite the initial promise of success, Richardson expressed displeasure with the marketing direction for 1 plus 1, and the act was recreated as alternative rock band MNQNN (pronounced "mannequin"). This music, differing greatly from the prior 1 plus 1 work, prompted Elektra to release them from their recording contract. MNQNN played rock clubs for a couple of years before the band went on an indefinite hiatus in June 2003.
Richardson persuaded Josh Deutsch of Virgin Records to sign her to that record label. She reconnected with Steve Sydelink who had worked in her bands and was the drummer in Madonna's band.
Nebiolo Printech S.p.A. is a manufacturer of printing presses and paper and formerly a type foundry. Nebiolo & Co. was created when Giovanni Nebiolo bought out the type foundry of G. Narizzano in Turin, Italy, in 1852. In 1908 the company merged with the Urania Company and operated under the name Augustea and began to buy out many smaller foundries. In 1916 it was again renamed Società Nebiolo. Fiat bought the press manufacturing business in 1978, turning the type business over to Italiana Caratteri. In 1992 it became Nebiolo Printech S.p.A. and continues to manufacture presses under that name today.
Nebiolo created a large library of typefaces, which remain popular today, although the company never entered photocomposition. It also built a type caster that competed with the Ludlow Typograph. Nebiolo types were distributed in the United States by Continental Type Founders Association. The designer Aldo Novarese became art director in 1952. The matrices for Nebiolo types are still being used by Schriften-Service D. Stempel GmbH.
