Jamie Thomas (born October 11, 1974), is an American professional skateboarder and skateboard industry entrepreneur. Thomas is the owner and founder of Zero Skateboards and Fallen Footwear. Thomas's nickname in the skateboard industry is "The Chief".
Thomas grew up in Dothan, Alabama, United States (US), Thomas started skateboarding at the age of eleven.
In 1992 Thomas left Alabama and relocated in San Francisco, California in order to pursue a career in professional skateboarding. At the time, he was sponsored Real Skateboards, Thunder trucks, and Spitfire wheels under the Deluxe Distribution company. Thomas turned pro for a short lived brand called Experience. Thomas then went on to ride for San Diego-based Invisible Skateboards.
After relocating to Southern California in 1994, Thomas was featured on the cover of TransWorld SKATEboarding magazine and filmed video parts for Spitfire and Invisible. In 1995 Thomas left Invisible to join skateboarder/artist Ed Templeton at Toy Machine Skateboards. Thomas filmed and directed two Toy Machine videos, the second one being the one of the most influential skate videos of the 1990s Welcome To Hell.
Jamie Thomas (born 22 May 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the New York Red Bulls II in United Soccer League.
Thomas began playing club soccer at the age of 8 for the MSC United (Montgomery Soccer Club) in Rockville, Maryland, under Coach Julio Arjona, Sr. from 2000 to 2006. While playing on the MSC United 92 team, Thomas helped the team win the 2002 U-10 National Futsal Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada and the 2003 U-12 National Futsal Championship in Long Beach, California, as well as winning the following tournaments: NCSL Division 1 four times; CASL Shootout, Raleigh, NC; Bethesda, MD; Potomac, MD; Del Sol, Arizona; DELCO, PA; Kirkwood, DE; and YMS, PA. Thomas was also named to the Maryland ODP Region I roster.
In 2006, Thomas began playing club soccer for the Pachuca Internationals in Maryland, under Coach Pete Mehlert, where Thomas helped them win the U-17 Maryland State Cup Championship in 2009 and the 2009 Surf Cup U-19 Super Group Championship.

Jamie Thomas King was born in London, England and educated at Dulwich College, Fine Arts College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He is the son of American screen writer Laura Lamson and English television director Christopher King.
King began his acting career in the theatre, where his most notable performance was in the Royal National Theatre's production of Alan Bennett's The History Boys. He has since acted extensively in American and European film and television productions, but he is most recognized for playing poet Thomas Wyatt in the television series The Tudors.

Thomas King (21 November 1821 – 28 April 1893) was a 19th-century New Zealand politician. He served in the first two Parliaments, and was otherwise active in New Plymouth. He was one of the first settlers, coming out on the first ship to New Plymouth in 1841.
King was born in London on 21 November 1821. He received his education at the City of London School and then at Oxford University.
He came to New Zealand in March 1841 on the William Bryan. He married Mary Chilman (born in London), the daughter of the New Plymouth settler Richard Chilman, in 1846. She was the sister of Richard Chilman, the local secretary of the Plymouth Company. The Kings had seven children.
King was a member of the Taranaki Provincial Council, serving as provincial treasurer.

Valerie "Val" Pollard (née Lambert) is a fictional character from the soap opera, Emmerdale. She is played by Charlie Hardwick, and made her first on-screen appearance on 1 February 2004. She is perhaps best known for her sharp-tongue, witty comments and amusing scenes. She was introduced as the younger sister of established character, Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen), and was involved in a love triangle with Diane and her husband, Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower). In 2008, Val married Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), after being kidnapped by the Dingle family, and battled cataracts. In 2010, Eric and Val fostered troublesome teenager Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny), and extended the Pollard clan. Hardwick took a 3-month break from the show in early 2012, and returned in June, and Val was written out as she went to stay in Portugal. Upon her return, she was punched across the face by Alicia Gallagher (Natalie Anderson) and phoned the police, leading to most of the village hating her. In 2014, Val met her most serious storyline when she is diagnosed as being HIV positive following a fling in Portugal. Eric, however, is negative.
