Jake's Booty Call

Jake's Booty Call (officially just Booty Call) is the name given to a series of 33 multiplot Flash animation games (and three 'extras') originally produced by Eric Eisner and hosted at Romp.com. In these games the player has to follow the main character, Jake, around and help him on his mission to have sex with various women he sees. Usually the aim is to get him to have sex with one woman; however, a few episodes require more than one to complete.

Each episode takes place in different surroundings, and some are easier to complete than others. In the first few episodes, the setting of the game did not change; however, as the series progressed, games gave Jake the ability to choose which setting to go to.

The character of Jake is a Gary Stu for Julian Max Metter (also the producer, writer, director and artist, and voice of Jake). The player controls Jake by using a mouse to click on various buttons to choose actions (such as choosing whether or not to take ecstasy) or dialogue (such as to pretend to be local or a tourist). Jake responds accordingly. If, throughout the course of the game, the player chooses the right responses each time, Jake will win and have sex with a girl. The player will be rewarded with a sex scene and the text "You get laid, you big pimp!". In some cases, Jake has sex with more than one girl - in a few episodes, this happens throughout the plot and is referred to as a Bonus Bang; some episodes, notably Hat Trick and It's Your Birthday, require Jake to have sex with more than one girl in order to win. On many occasions the girls were voiced by whomever Julian had met in bars while making the games.

Casual sex are certain types of sexual activity outside of romantic relationships that imply an absence of commitment, emotional attachment, or familiarity between sexual partners.

Examples are sex in casual relationships, one-night stands, extramarital sex, prostitution, or swinging.

Social norms and moral concerns

Attitudes to casual sex range from conservative and religious views, the extreme of which may result in imprisonment or even capital punishment for sexual relations outside heterosexual marriage, to liberal or libertarian views, the extreme of which is free love.

In the United States in the 1920s, "petting parties", where petting ("making out" or foreplay) was the main attraction, became a popular part of the flapper lifestyle, which diminished after the end of the Roaring Twenties.

During the sexual revolution in the United States and Europe in the 1960s and 1970s, social attitudes to sexual issues underwent considerable changes. The advent of the pill and other forms of birth control, the Women's Liberation movement, and the legalization of abortion in many countries is believed to have led to a wider practice of casual sex. Most religions disapprove of sex outside of marriage (see religion and sexuality).

Booty Call is a 1997 comedy film, written by J. Stanford Parker (credited as Bootsie) and Takashi Bufford, and directed by Jeff Pollack. The film stars Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, Vivica A. Fox and Tamala Jones.

Plot

Booty Call is about a tender-hearted, upwardly-mobile named Rushon (Davidson) who has been dating his girlfriend Nikki (Jones) for seven weeks. They really like each other, but their relationship has not yet been consummated; Nikki is not so sure if their relationship is ready for the next stage.

Rushon asks Nikki out to dinner, but Nikki wants it to be a double date. She brings her opinionated friend Lysterine "Lysti" (Vivica A. Fox), and Rushon comes with his "bad boy" buddy Bunz (Jamie Foxx). Lysti and Bunz hit it off very quickly, and to Rushon's surprise, Nikki decides it is time for their relationship to move to the next level. However, they have one small problem: this is the 90s, and everyone wants to practice "safe sex." Therefore, Rushon and Bunz must go on wild adventures trying to find "protection" before the evening's mood evaporates.
