Jagadish
Jagadish Kumar (born 1955), popularly known as Jagadish, is an Indian film actor and screenwriter best known for his comic performances in Malayalam cinema. He became popular through performances in films such as In Harihar Nagar, Godfather, Mukhachitram, Welcome to Kodaikanal, Thiruthalvaadi, Mantrikacheppu, and Hitler.
Jagadish is postgraduate M.Com. rank holder. He transitioned from a bank officer to a college lecturer and to a film actor within a short time. He was a lead actor in a number of movies during the 1990s, though he now mostly does support roles.
Early life
Jagadish was born to K. Parameshwaran Nair and P. Bhasurangi Amma on 12 June 1955 in Chenkal, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He had his primary education from Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram. Jagadish graduated with a Master of Commerce from Mar Ivanios College, Nalanchira, Trivandrum under the University of kerala with first rank. He became an officer with Federal bank and later he became a lecturer in M.G. College, Thiruvananthapuram, a college run by NSS. He had dreams of becoming a film actor, so he took a long leave from his job and ventured his luck in films.
