Noir is a Canadian drama film, directed by Yves Christian Fournier and released in 2015.

An ensemble cast film set primarily in the impoverished Montreal North area, the film focuses on a variety of interconnected storylines. Characters include Dickens (Kémy St-Eloi) and Bobby (Clauter Alexandre), two Haitian Canadian brothers involved in the gang lifestyle; Kadhafi (Salim Kechiouche), an Algerian immigrant who works in a dry cleaning shop with Jean-Jacques (Benz Antoine) and dreams of becoming a hip hop star; and Suzie (Jade-Mariuka Robitaille), a stripper in a relationship with drug dealer Evans (Christopher Charles) while simultaneously connected in an ambiguous way to Phil (Patrick Hivon).

Kechiouche garnered a Jutra Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 18th Jutra Awards.

Noir (Callisto album)

Noir is the second full-length album by the Finnish post-metal band Callisto.

The record has had many problems and delays with its release. It was released in Finland by Fullsteam Records on time in May 2006; however, worldwide release was not available until mid-February 2007 when the album was released in Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, and Sweden. Earache Records had not gained distribution rights as it did with True Nature Unfolds to release the album in North America. However, since July 2009, the album has been made available on iTunes.

"Jaded" is a song by American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was written by Steven Tyler and Marti Frederiksen. The single was released on December 21, 2000 as the first single from the album Just Push Play. The song was debuted publicly at the American Music Awards and was also played at the halftime show for Super Bowl XXXV in January 2001. It was ranked No. 86 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 00's.

Lyrical interpretation and song structure

The song's lyrics are about a girl who is "jaded", and how the relationship the narrator has with the girl is sometimes "complicated", but repeatedly claims that "I'm the one that jaded you."

The song features jangling guitars and a danceable drum beat and bass rhythm.

Cover artwork

The single's artwork was somewhat controversial, featuring a naked girl holding an apple on the cover. The model in the artwork is Nicole West.

Music video

The video for "Jaded" features Aerosmith performing in the Lobby of the Los Angeles Theater, and random clips of a "Jaded" girl (actress Mila Kunis). The song tells a story of a girl who has lost the ability to feel due to losing touch with reality.

"Jaded" is a song by British electronic duo Disclosure. It was released worldwide on 25 September 2015 from the duo's second studio album, Caracal. The track was written by Howard Lawrence, Guy Lawrence, Sam Romans and Jimmy Napes. The track peaked at No. 87 in the UK Singles Chart. It features vocals from Howard rather than a guest vocalist.
