It's No Good

"It's No Good" is Depeche Mode's 32nd UK single, released on 31 March 1997 (15 April in the US), and the second single for the then upcoming album Ultra. It reached number 5 in the UK Singles Chart.

Description

"It's No Good" is a moodily rhythmic song with a distinct lyrical hook in the chorus:

It played well on American radio and MTV. The "Speedy J Mix" made it onto Remixes 81–04 in 2004, as did the "Club 69 Future Mix" (Remix Peter Rauhofer), which was previously promo only.

The B-side is another instrumental, called "Slowblow". It was the last actual B-side from the Ultra era, making the album the only one by Depeche Mode to not have a non-remix/non-live vocal B-side track (Although if you exclude non-exclusive songs, Black Celebration can count as well). The instrumental itself is slow and moody.

On 15 May 1997, the band went on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and performed the song, a recording made available at the official Depeche Mode website. It was the first time they performed a song on an American TV show since 1988, when they performed "Strangelove". The "Hardfloor Mix" of the song was featured briefly in the Friends episode "The One with Joey's Dirty Day". "It's No Good" was also used in an episode of Nash Bridges.

No Good (album)

No Good is American recording artist Ivy Levan's debut album. The album was released on August 7, 2015 and featured the two official singles, "Biscuit" and "Killing You" featuring Sting.

Background

No Good is Levan's debut studio album, following the releases of her two previous extended plays. The album follows her recent genre path: pop, swamp pop, pop-rock, and blue-eyed soul.

The lead single for No Good was released on January 13, 2015. The track was titled "Biscuit" and its music video was released the same day.

The official second single from No Good was released on June 23, 2015 and was called "Killing You". The track features Sting.

Promotional singles

The album's first promotional single was released on December 2, 2014 and was titled "The Dame Says". The lyric video for the single was released earlier, on November 24.

The second promo single was released only on YouTube to the public on June 2, 2015 and it was entitled "27 Club". The track is a collaboration between Levan and Diplo."27 Club was later, on July 10, 2015, released for digital download.The cover-art for the second release pictured just Levan instead of both Levan and Diplo like it did in the audio version released on YouTube.

No Good (previously known as No Good but So Good) was an American hip hop group from Miami, Florida. The group was formed by Derrick "Mr. Fatal" Hill, Tracy "T-Nasty" Lattimer and John "Slo" Strachtan. Strachtan later departed the group, and No Good continued as a duo.

History

Derrick Hill, Tracy Lattimer and John Strachtan started working in 1992 as dancers and hype men for rapper Luther "Luke" Campbell. They later formed No Good But So Good in 1992 as a dance troupe, eventually making a shift into rap music. They gained much hype in their hometown of Miami, performing in local clubs.Up to No Good, their debut studio album, was produced by Campbell and released in December 1996. Two singles—"Get Your Shake On" and "Six O'Clock in the Morning"—were released from the album. In 1998, No Good But So Good were featured on Luke's single "Raise the Roof", which peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Strachtan later departed the group, and the group's remaining two members shortened their name to No Good. The duo found success with the 1998 single "Lizard, Lizard", a collaboration with rapper Jiggie, which became a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. No Good and Jiggie collaborated for the studio album Lizard Lizard, which was released in February 1999. The duo later signed to Artistdirect Records and released their third studio album Gameday, PBB in May 2002. The album spawned the hit single "Ballin' Boy", which gave the group their second number-one hit on the Hot Rap Songs chart.

It's (album)

It's is the second mini-album by South Korean boy group Teen Top. The mini-album was released on January 9, 2012 and contains six tracks. "Going Crazy" was used as the promotional track for the mini-album. The mini-album debuted at number 3 on the Gaon Album Chart on January 18, 2012.

Background

With six tracks, the album was produced by Brave Brothers Kang Dong Chul, who took on not only the production, but writing, composition, and mixing processes as well to ensure its high quality.

"It's" is filled with an intro, an instrumental, a remix of the title track, and another three full music tracks. The mini album starts off with Teen Top's self-titled intro before it moves to its title track, "Going Crazy". The songs are followed by "Where's Ma Girl" and the slower "Girl Friend". The mini album then moves on to a R&B version of "Going Crazy" before adding another instrumental of the title track.

Their title track, "Going Crazy" was the #1 most downloaded ringtone in Korea early January 2012. On January 20, the weekly mobile ringtone chart on major Korean portal site Nate.com revealed that TEEN TOP’s “Going Crazy” triumphed T-ara‘s “Lovey Dovey” to secure the #1 spot.

Information technology (IT) is the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise.
