Isaac Boss

Isaac Boss (born 9 April 1980 in Tokoroa, New Zealand) is a New Zealand–born Irish rugby union footballer. His grandmother was born in Glenarm, County Antrim, thereby qualifying him to play for Ireland. He plays scrum-half or fullback for Leinster and the Ireland national team. He weighs 88 kg and is 1.78 m tall.

Career

He was part of the U19 New Zealand Rugby World Cup team in 1999 although his Irish ancestry means that he is qualified to play rugby for Ireland. He played in New Zealand for the Hautapu Rugby Club in Cambridge and for the Waikato in the National Provincial Championship. He also played for the Hurricanes and the Chiefs in the Super 12, where he was halfback for the Chiefs before the arrival of All Black Byron Kelleher. He made three substitute appearances for Ireland on the 2006 Southern Hemisphere Tour and started against Australia in the Autumn internationals.

Ulster Rugby

Boss arrived in Ireland joining Ulster at the beginning of the 2005/06 season from his native New Zealand where he played for both Waikato (NPC) and the Wellington Hurricanes (Super 12). He was a key part of the 2005/06 Pro 12 winners team. He played 16 matches for Ulster in 2005/06 scoring 3 tries. The next season he played 16 matches scoring 2 tries. He played 15 matches in 2007/08 scoring 3 tries. He scored 3 more tries for Ulster in the next two seasons. A hugely popular player throughout his time at Ravenhill, he amassed over 100 Ulster caps, before transferring to Leinster ahead of the start of the 2010–11 season.

Isaac

Isaac (/ˈaɪzək/;Hebrew: יִצְחָק, Modern Yitskhak, Tiberian Yiṣḥāq, ISO 259-3 Yiçḥaq, "[he] will laugh"; Ancient Greek: Ἰσαάκ Isaak Arabic: إسحاق‎ or إسحٰقʼIsḥāq) as described in the Hebrew Bible and the Qur'an, was the second son of Abraham, the only son Abraham had with his wife Sarah, and the father of Jacob and Esau. According to the Book of Genesis, Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born, and Sarah was past 90.

According to the Genesis narrative, Abraham brought Isaac to Mount Moriah, where, at God's command, Abraham built a sacrificial altar to sacrifice Isaac. This event served as a test of Abraham's faith. At the last moment an angel stopped him.

Isaac was one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites. Isaac was the only biblical patriarch whose name was not changed, and the only one who did not move out of Canaan. Compared to Abraham and Jacob, the Bible relates fewer incidents of Isaac's life. He died when he was 180 years old, making him the longest-lived of the three.

Isaac (talk show)

Isaac is an American TV show hosted by fashion designer and personality Isaac Mizrahi. It was shot in New York City, and aired on the Style Network in the United States. It premiered on December 5, 2005. Segments included man-on-the-street interviews, "Sketches and Answers" and celebrity interviews. He was supported by "Ben and the band" and an on-set coffee bar that served coffee to the most famous guests.

The show package was designed and created by E! On Air Design Art Director, Phil Han with Executive Producer Dione Li and SVP, Creative Director, Ann Epstein-Cohen.
