Intro (Bravo Band album)

Intro (in Macedonian: Интро) is the debut album by the Macedonian male group Bravo Band. The album was released in October 2008 and it contains nine songs which are different by style.

Production history

The first single released from the album was "Lesno Ti E Tebe" ("It's easy for you") in 2006. With that song the band first promoted their self as a music group on the Macedonian festival Ohrid Fest. The song is work of Jovan Jovanov and Elvir Mekic which made their second single too called "Ne Bih Te Menjao" ("I wouldn't change you"). "Ne Bih Te Menjao" is a Serbian language song and it was the band's entry for Suncane Skale 2007. With this song they finished third in the first night with 63 points. The video for the song "Neka Patam" made by Dejan Milicevic was selected for best Macedonian video of 2008. In October all since then present songs they released on an album. The album is called Intro mainly for two reasons. The first one is the word intro which comes from the English word "introduction". It is just a metaphor for what they present in it, an introduction of their emotions which are in one way or another expressed in every song.

Never Back Down (album)

Never Back Down is the third full-length studio album and major label debut by post-hardcore band Close to Home, released on February 15, 2011, through Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie.

The album was produced and engineered by ex-A Day to Remember guitarist Tom Denney, and mixed by Andrew Wade.

Commercial Placement

On February 16, 2012, it was revealed that the opening track on Never Back Down entitled "Intro" was used in the Chinese multinational personal technology company Lenovo Group Limited's 0:33 second commercial entitled "The Jetpack: When Do Gets Done".

Numbers (MellowHype album)

Numbers is the second and final studio album by American hip hop duo MellowHype. It was released on October 9, 2012. This was their only release under a major label. The album also contains appearances from Odd Future members Frank Ocean, Mike G and Earl Sweatshirt. The album was briefly the number one rap album on iTunes, before being overtaken by The Heist by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Singles

The album's first single, La Bonita, was released on July 18, 2012. The full version of the track was released through iTunes on August 28, 2012, along with a music video on August 29, 2012.

On October 4, 2012, the album's second single, "Grill", was released through Odd Future's official Soundcloud. The music video for "Break" was released on November 27, 2012.

Computer World

Computer World (German: Computerwelt) is the eighth studio album by German electronic music band Kraftwerk, released on 10 May 1981. The album peaked at number fifteen on the UK Albums Chart. It was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) on 12 February 1982 for shipments in excess of 60,000 copies.

The album deals with the themes of the rise of computers within society. Critics see this album as a peak in the career of Kraftwerk, along with The Man-Machine and Trans-Europe Express. The compositions are credited to Ralf Hütter, Florian Schneider, and Karl Bartos. In keeping with the album's concept, Kraftwerk showcased their music on an ambitious world tour and issued several different versions of the single "Pocket Calculator" in different languages: namely, German ("Taschenrechner"), French ("Mini Calculateur") and Japanese ("Dentaku", or 電卓). A fifth version, in Italian ("Mini Calcolatore"), was lip-synched to on Italian television in 1981.

As was the case with the two previous albums, Computer World was released in both German- and English-language editions. The title of the final track, "It's More Fun to Compute", is in English in all releases, as it is based on the slogan "It's more fun to compete!" that could be seen on old pinball machines. There are also some minor differences in the album mixes used on the English- and German-language releases.

Numbers (band)

Numbers are an American indie rock band from San Francisco, California.

Not to be confused with the New York pop band 'Numbers', who recorded in 1979 and 1980. 3 of their songs are included on the Sandy McKnight box set "How I Changed the World", released in 2010.

History

The group was formed in 2000 by Indra Dunis (vocals, drums) and two former members of the band Xerobot, Dave Broekema (guitar) and Eric (Rat Tar) Landmark (keyboards). They issued their debut full-length album in 2002 on Tigerbeat6, and followed with a flurry of small-issue releases, including a split with Erase Errata. After a second album, they signed to Kill Rock Stars, who have released their last two albums.
