Infatuation (Christina Aguilera song)

"Infatuation" is a song by American recording artist Christina Aguilera, taken from her fourth studio album, Stripped (2002). The song was written by Aguilera, Scott Storch, Matt Morris and its production was handled by Storch, while Aguilera and E. Dawk served as vocal producers. Lyrically, the songs talks about the first love of Christina, who is a Puerto Rican. The arrangements of the songs are in Spanish and Latin influences. Aguilera has performed "Infatuation" several times, notably at the 2002 Winter Olympics closing ceremony. "Infatuation" was released as a promotional CD single in Spain in 2003.

Background

Following the release of the self-titled debut album in 1999, Aguilera had achieved major success with four worldwide number-one hits. Despite the international success, the singer was dissatisfied with the music and image that her manager, Steve Kurtz, had created for her, having been marketed as a bubblegum pop singer because of the genre's upward financial trend. She mentioned plans for her next album to have more musical and lyrical depth. Aguilera decided not to continue the contact with Kurtz. By late 2000, after terminating Kurtz's services, Irving Azoff was hired as her new manager. Aguilera decided to take a more prominent role in the musical direction of her next record. She also used her new alter ego, "Xtina", and changed her appearance.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long

It Won't Be Soon Before Long is the second studio album by the American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released in May 2007 as the follow-up to their debut album Songs About Jane (2002). The name was inspired by a phrase the band adopted to keep themselves motivated while on their tour.

The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling around 430,000 copies in its first week and, as of 2011, approximately 5 million copies worldwide. It is the first Maroon 5 studio release to feature drummer Matt Flynn. The band's former drummer, percussionist and background vocalist - Ryan Dusick, who officially left Maroon 5 in 2006 due to serious wrist and shoulder injuries, was credited as the "Musical Director".

Background

It Won't Be Soon Before Long has 12 songs, plus 6 bonus tracks. The band stated in interviews that the album has a different feel to it from their 2002 debut album Songs About Jane. The songs are not all based on one specific relationship, as in Jane, and also have a different sound than their first album, being more electric and drawing inspiration from such artists as Talking Heads, Michael Jackson and Prince. A review written prior to the album's release described the songs as having a very retro feel.Adam Levine explained that this record is a little more self-confident and powerful lyrically: "...you can dance to it, there's a little more attitude."

Rocket (2015 film)

Rocket (Kannada: ರಾಕೆಟ್) is a 2015 Kannada romantic comedy film written and directed by Shiva Shashi, produced by and co-starring Sathish Ninasam, alongside Aishani Shetty in the lead roles.Achyuth Kumar, Sundar Raj, Padmaja Rao, Ninasam Ashwath and Rashri Ponnappa feature in supporting roles.

Plot

The movie is a romantic comedy. The main lead of the movie, Rakesh (Sathish Ninasam), falls in love with Shwetha (Aishani Shetty), and goes through a romantic journey. He faces a lot of hurdles in the journey and overcomes those hurdles forms the crux of the story.

Production

The shooting of the movie commenced in December 2014 and finished in July 2015. The movie has been shot in Bangalore and some locations of Coorg.

Soundtrack

The music of the movie has been composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi of Lucia fame. The movie has five songs, one of the which has been sung by Kannada film actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Apart from known voices it also has voices from a pool of new Kannada singers.

Rock Island Rockets (1937)

The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Rockets were lightweight, streamlined diesel-electric passenger trains built by the Budd Company. These six trains were the first streamlined equipment purchased by the Rock Island, as well as being its first diesel-powered passenger trains. Four of the trains consisted of 3 cars each, the other two each had 4 cars.

The stainless steel trains were each powered by an Electro-Motive Corporation model TA locomotive. Unlike many other early streamlined trains, the locomotives were not permanently attached to the trains.

The trains were partially articulated, however the observation cars were not articulated with the rest of the trainsets.

Galactik Football

In the universe of Galactik Football, the inhabited worlds of the Zaelion Galaxy compete in Galactik Football, a sport analogous to football, but played seven to a side. The game is complicated by the addition of Flux, which enhances a player's attributes such as speed, strength, and agility, or grants special powers such as teleportation. The story follows the fate of an inexperienced Galactik Football team, the Snow Kids, as they aim to compete in the Galactik Football Cup.

Plot

Season 1

The story begins during a football match between the home team of planet Akillian and the Shadows. As Aarch, captain of the Akillians, takes a direct free kick, an explosion is heard and an avalanche sweeps over the stadium, marking the beginning of the Akillian Ice Age and the loss of The Breath, Akillian's Flux.
