Lightning (稲妻, Inazuma) is a 1952 black-and-white Japanese film directed by Mikio Naruse. It is based on a novel by Fumiko Hayashi.

The film won 1953 Blue Ribbon Awards for best director (Mikio Naruse), best film (Mikio Naruse) and for best supporting actress Chieko Nakakita. It also won Mainichi Film Concours for best film score by Ichirō Saitō and again for best supporting actress Chieko Nakakita.

Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!

Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma! (超忍者隊イナズマ!, Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!, translated as Super Ninja Force Inazuma!) is a Japanese tokusatsu direct-to-video comedy series produced by Toei Video that was released in June 2006. Its sequel, which began filming on February 23, 2007, is titled Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!! SPARK (超忍者隊イナズマ!!ＳＰＡＲＫ, Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!! Supāku), and was released July 21, 2007.

The series itself is in the jidaigeki genre (Japanese for an Edo period drama). Its cast of both movies feature actors from the Super Sentai Series' recent programs, primarily from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger to GoGo Sentai Boukenger. As a result, the series' characters would use often reference their original characters.

Jun Terada is a producer in the year 2076 and is trying to convince the president of Magical TV to allow her to create her life's work, Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!, based on the long-standing legend of a legendary lightning that bestows powers upon those struck by it. However, because the show is to be the 100th anniversary of the Hyper Hero Team Series" (ハイパー勇者隊シリーズ, Haipā Yūshatai Shirīzu), it must be a first for the 100-year-long franchise. President Mishima convinces her to turn it into a reality show by traveling back to 1720 in the Edo period and picking three extremely inept locals and force them through humiliating training to become ninja.

Inazuma Eleven

Inazuma Eleven (イナズマイレブン, Inazuma Irebun, "Lightning Eleven") is a role-playing sports video game for the Nintendo DS developed and published by Level-5. It was released on August 22, 2008 in Japan. A European release was confirmed by Nintendo and was released on January 29, 2011, three years after the Japanese release. The UK release was held back to 26 August 2011 for marketing reasons. The European release was updated with additional features from the sequel, Inazuma Eleven: Firestorm / Blizzard.

The game was included in an updated re-release compilation titled "Inazuma Eleven 1-2-3: Endo Mamoru's Legend" for the Nintendo 3DS, released on December 27, 2012 physically and digitally exclusively in Japan. It was based on the Japanese Nintendo DS version of Inazuma Eleven, updated with stereoscopic 3D and updated graphics. A Nintendo 3DS eShop port based on that compilation, and featuring a new dub, was the series' North American and Australian debut on February 13, 2014, directly after that month's Nintendo Direct announcement.
