Inagh (Irish: Eidhneach, meaning "ivy") is a village and civil parish in County Clare, Ireland. It is situated 14 km west of Ennis on the Inagh River. It contains the villages of Inagh and Cloonanaha.
The parish is part of the barony of Inchiquin. The Parliamentary Gazeteer of Ireland, 1845 describes Inach (then including Kilnamona) as:
The village is clustered around seven of the parish's townlands that lie north-east of Mount Callan. It was once called Breintir Fearmacach agus Cormacach, meaning "fetid district of Cinel Fearmaic and Cormaic". It was later called Breintre, then Inagh. The village is situated on the N85, Ennis - Ennistymon / Lahinch road, making Inagh a popular tourist route serving north and west Clare.
The Catholic parish of Inagh and Kilnamona has its parish office in the village of Inagh.
Inagh has seen some recent development, including a new housing estate and the new Ark Crèche facility, with more development having been granted planning permission. Plans are also afoot to develop the parish hall (and adjoining old national school building) further. Inagh is also home to the organic goat cheese farm of St Tola.
Stupid words everyday
again and again, I hear them say
Leave me alone
Can't take anymore
I'm not the saint your looking for
Never take me to your head
I'm not your dog
I don't play dead
I never let you get me down
Don't tell me I can't have another drink
Don't tell me who to hang around with
Now I am tired of all your misery
Leave me alone, you better leave me alone
We are young and we are free
We are your catastrophy
And your ordinary sunday
Is our never ending funday
We are young and we are free
And changed the world's philosophy
And your ordinary sunday
Is our never ending funday
We are young
And we are free
We are young
We are your catastrophy
Got my hair cut to the brain
But look, Mom and Dad
I'm still the same
Don't you see
I'm not like you
And all your politicians, too
Never take me to your head
I'm not your dog
I don't play dead
I never let you get me down
Don't tell me I can't have another drink
Don't tell me who to hang around with
Now I am tired of all your misery
Leave me alone, you better leave me alone
We are young and we are free
We are your catastrophy
And your ordinary sunday
Is our never ending funday
We are young and we are free
And changed the world's philosophy
And your ordinary sunday
