Zen is a 2007 drama-horror film written and directed by Gary Davis. Filmed in Florida, it was released and screened at a Boynton Beach, Florida cinema on April 12, 2007. The DVD was released in North America on April 13, 2007.
Set in 17th-Century Japan, "Zen" is the chronicle of a young samurai, Master Mitzu Zen, who learns the secret way of killing vampires while learning about women and life in general. Master Zen (Kit DeZolt), a naive master who doesn't know anything about women and love, goes on a quest to find out the truth about his parents' sacred sword. While meeting people along the way, he ends up running into more than he bargained for when he starts encountering vampires.
Davis' 2009 film Count Osaka is a sequel to Zen, with DeZolt reprising his role as the original movie's title character. It premiered December 2, 2009. It aired as part of the first Royal Palm Independent Film Festival in early 2010.
Grind is a musical with a book by Fay Kanin, music by Larry Grossman, and lyrics by Ellen Fitzhugh. Grind is a portrait of a largely African-American burlesque house in Chicago in the Thirties.
The reviews were mixed at best. In his New York Times review, Frank Rich wrote: "...the show has become a desperate barrage of arbitrary musical numbers, portentous staging devices, extravagant costumes..., confused plot twists and sociological bromides..." "Grind" fared poorly at the box office; "The production was a disaster; the show lost its entire $4.75 million investment, and Prince and three other members of the creative team were suspended by the Dramatists Guild for signing a "substandard contract." 1985 was a bad year for Broadway musicals, and only one hit (Big River) had emerged by the time Tony nominations were submitted. Since there was little decent competition, "Grind" received a Tony nomination for Best Musical. Ken Mandelbaum wrote of the season: "The original Big River came along at the end of a dismal season for new musicals, and Leader of the Pack, Quilters, and the fascinating but unworkable Grind posed virtually no competition.

If 10 planes hit the projects, nobody will care
Look around, they aint nothin but black folks around here
From brothers that become political, and start to manuever
They'll give you a hundred years man, they did it to Hoover

Feinds that'll kill an addict that support their habit
Feinds that'll pawn their jewels for dog food
So when I'm on the strip, you know I'm on the move
Fuck cops in a bentley, with low ass knowledge
I cop ten bricks and pay for a pilots
Now theres coke in Ohana, dope in Alabama
I'm, not a rapper, Tony Yay' is a scrambler
Remember back then, is when I slinged on the corner

((Chorus))

((Chorus))
