Judy Collins #3 is an album by American folk singer Judy Collins released in 1963. It spent 10 weeks on Billboard's Top 150 album charts in 1964, peaking at #126 on May 16.
Jim (later Roger) McGuinn worked as an arranger and played guitar and banjo on the album. He would later bring with him the acoustic arrangements of the Pete Seeger songs "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)" and "The Bells of Rhymney" (as well as the notion of covering Dylan-material in an unusual fashion) when he went on to co-found the folk rock group The Byrds, where they would get a full electrified rock'n'roll-band treatment.
Judith Marjorie Collins (born May 1, 1939) is an American singer and songwriter known for her eclectic tastes in the material she records (which has included folk, show tunes, pop, rock and roll and standards) and for her social activism.
Collins' debut album A Maid of Constant Sorrow was released in 1961, but it was her cover of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now", the lead single from her 1967 album Wildflowers, that gave Collins international prominence. The single hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart and won Collins her first Grammy Award for Best Folk Performance. She enjoyed further success with her covers of "Someday Soon", "Chelsea Morning", "Amazing Grace", and "Cook with Honey".
Collins experienced the biggest success of her career with her cover of Stephen Sondheim's "Send in the Clowns" from her best-selling 1975 album Judith. The single charted on the Billboard Pop Singles chart in 1975 and then again in 1977, spending 27 nonconsecutive weeks on the chart and earning Collins a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female, as well as a Grammy Award for Sondheim for Song of the Year.

In My Life is a 2009 Philippine drama film released by Star Cinema, starring Vilma Santos-Recto, John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano. The film was directed by Olivia Lamasan, and filmed mainly in New York City.
Shirley Templo (Vilma Santos-Recto) is a ruthless woman. Many people deal with her strong attitude only for fear of her cold stare, or her outlash. She works as a librarian in a school, and lives in a compound that is owned by her ex-husband, Benito Salvacion (Tirso Cruz III). Many of the Salvacion family members that live near the compound, even including her eldest daughter, Dang (Dimples Romana), plead with her to sell it so they can make a profit, and she can move to a more suitable living area. Hard-headed as she is, Shirley refuses and feels betrayed by her two daughters, Dang and Cherry, for even siding with their father who left them nearly fifteen years ago. Even more upset, she finds out that Dang will want to move out of the Philippines to Australia. Leaving her alone in the Philippines since all her children moved out, Shirley decides to move to New York City with her youngest and only son, Mark Salvacion (Luis Manzano). Mark is unaware, however, that this supposed vacation of his mother is actually a permanent visit.
In My Life is the fourth album from American new-age pianist Kevin Kern. As with his preceding and succeeding albums, it is an album of instrumental songs. It was released on August 24, 1999.
This is Kern's first album to feature compositions not written by him; prior to this, all of his album's songs were solely self-composed.
This album marks the first time that Kern covered a song recorded by another artist, namely Elton John's "We All Fall in Love Sometimes" from his 1975 album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, and the Beatles' "In My Life" from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. According to the liner notes of the album, while growing up, Kern and his brother would jam along to Beatles records as soon as they were released.
In addition to this, the song "Emerald Legacy", according to Kern, is inspired by his father's Irish tenor, which was also a part of his childhood. The song "To Sleep on Angels' Wings" is dedicated to his mother.
All my bags are packed,
I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breaking,
It's early morn
The taxi's waiting,
He's blowing' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome
I could cry.
(Chorus)
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go.
I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go.
There are so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now, they don't mean a thing
Every place I go, I'll think of you
Every song I sing, I'll sing for you
When I come back, I'll wear your wedding ring.
(Chorus)
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time
Let me kiss you
Then close your eyes,
I'll be on my way.
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times, I won't have to say,
(Chorus)
LEAVING ON A JET PLANE
