Haunted (Poe album)

Haunted is the second album by American singer/songwriter Poe, released in 2000 (see 2000 in music) after a five-year hiatus from her debut album Hello in 1995. The self-produced album was created as a tribute to her father, and counterpart to her brother Mark Z. Danielewski's novel House of Leaves.

History

Haunted found Poe combining traditional pop notions with electronic, dance and hard rock music. A critical success and largely adored by her existing fanbase, it nonetheless flopped commercially, largely due to the manner in which it was marketed. The song "Hey Pretty" was released as a promo single, but Poe's vocals had been replaced with a chapter reading from her brother, as alternative radio of 2001 was not very willing to play female artists. It reached #13 on Billboard's US Modern Rock chart. The music video for the song was deemed too racy for MTV (it showed Poe writhing around in mud in nothing but a bra.) A follow up promo single, "Walk the Walk", was released because it had been chosen as the theme song to a new TV drama called Girls Club. However, the show was canceled after two episodes. "Wild" was released as a third single, garnering some radio play in the Chicago area. The single was never released commercially, but featured a shorter radio mix in addition to an acoustic/rock version of the song. The title track was used as the theme song to the film Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2, a box-office failure. The commercial failure of Poe's second album contributed to the loss of her distribution contract with Atlantic Records.

List of programming syndicated by iHeartMedia

The majority of programming syndicated by iHeartMedia is distributed through its subsidiary, Premiere Networks. However, several iHeartMedia radio shows are syndicated by their local stations without the aid of Premiere. Talk shows of this type are generally broadcast through Orbital Media Networks, Inc. (formerly Clear Channel Satellite Services); music programs of this type are generally prerecorded and distributed through a company intranet service known as Premium Choice.

Talk shows

The following is a list of radio programs which are syndicated by iHeartMedia but are not distributed by its radio network subsidiary, Premiere Networks. In general, iHeartMedia syndicates a show outside of Premiere either as a cost-cutting measure, or because the show's talent has specifically requested syndication as condition to work for, or continue working for, the company. Talk shows currently syndicated by iHeartMedia are listed in the table below. Talk shows formerly syndicated by iHeartMedia (as Clear Channel Communications) include America's Trucking Network, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, Lex and Terry, MJ Morning Show, Springer on the Radio, The Schnitt Show, and The War Room with Quinn and Rose. Talk shows syndicated by iHeartMedia that have moved to Premiere include Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and The Bobby Bones Show.

  • Imagine (Snoop Dogg song)

"Imagine" is a song by American rapper Snoop Dogg, featuring guest vocals from singer Dr. Dre and D'Angelo, taken from Snoop Dogg's eighth studio album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment (2006). The song was written by Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Mark Batson, with production handled by Dr. Dre and Mark Batson.

    Background

Originally, the track "Imagine" was slated to be on Busta Rhymes' The Big Bang album. Busta Rhymes stated in several interviews, shortly before The Big Bang's release, that the sample for "Imagine" was still trying to be cleared. Busta Rhymes stated that he was not sure that the sample would be cleared in time for his album's release, so it had to be excluded from his album. The sample was not cleared in time, and it is presumable that the song was given to Snoop Dogg for his album soon after. It was then recorded with verses by Kam and Snoop Dogg (different from the album version) that was played on the TBCT Listening party. Although Busta Rhymes later released a remix to the song, it is presumable that his "remix" is actually the intended original version that did not make the release of The Big Bang. Moreover artists like Nas, Adil Omar, Ja Rule and Black-Ty also did freestyles to the song. He also confirmed that Dr. Dre had a big input on this album, producing several tracks and even rapping a verse on the track, "Imagine". Dr. Dre hadn't produced any Snoop Dogg tracks since 2000.

    Imagine (AD&D magazine)

Imagine Magazine was a monthly magazine dedicated to the first edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and Dungeons and Dragons role playing game systems published by TSR UK Limited.

    History

Imagine was published between April 1983 and October 1985. The print run lasted for 31 issues (30 monthly issues and one special edition) before its cancellation.

Don Turnbull was cited as Publisher and Paul Cockburn as Assistant Editor throughout the majority of the lifetime of the publication.

Imagine Magazine was responsible for several creative spin-offs, notably the Pelinore gaming world. The magazine also featured the classic adventure game comic "The Sword of Alabron" in issues 1 to 16. This was briefly revived as a second story arc titled "Auchter's Axe" in issues 29 to 30 prior to the magazine's cancellation.

Neil Gaiman wrote film reviews for several issues of Imagine Magazine in the early part of his career, taking over from Colin Greenland, and had his first short story "Featherquest" published here in May 1984. Gaiman's "How to Sell the Ponti Bridge", reprinted for the first time in M is for Magic was also first published here in March 1985.

    Voir passer les nuages
    Grimper au sommet
    Remonter les rivières
    Retenir l'été
    S'inventer des mirages
    Tout recommencer
    Rester en arrière
    Ou passer le premier
    Devenir grand
    Ami, ami
    Tourne, tourne, tourne la vie
    Je serai le même
Longue, longue et longue est la nuit
Mais je te serai toujours fidèle
    Ami, ami, ami
