If I Did It

If I Did It (2006 cancelled edition), retitled If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer (2007), is a book by ghostwriter Pablo Fenjves and, purportedly, by O. J. Simpson, in which Simpson allegedly puts forth a "hypothetical" description of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Simpson's former manager Norman Pardo told the Huffington Post Simpson was not involved in writing the book but rather accepted, against Pardo's advice, $600,000 from the ReganBooks and NewsCorp to say he had written it and conduct an interview.

Simpson was acquitted of the murders in a criminal trial (California v. Simpson) but later was found financially liable in a civil trial. Although the original release of the book was canceled shortly after it was announced in November 2006, 400,000 physical copies of the original book were printed, and by June 2007, copies of the book had leaked online.

The book was originally due to be published by ReganBooks, an imprint of HarperCollins, which was headed by editor and publisher Judith Regan. It was originally planned that the book would be promoted via a television special featuring an interview with Simpson on Fox Broadcasting Company. (Fox and HarperCollins are both owned by the News Corporation.) This special had the longer title, O. J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened. Like the original release of the book, the special was canceled.

Demetri Martin

Demetri Evan Martin (born May 25, 1973) is an American comedian, actor, artist, musician, writer, and humorist. He is best known for his work as a stand-up comedian, being a contributor on The Daily Show, and his Comedy Central show Important Things with Demetri Martin.

Early life

Martin was born on May 25, 1973 to a Greek American family in New York City, New York, the son of nutritionist Lillian and Greek Orthodox priest Dean C. Martin (now deceased). He grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and has a younger brother named Spyro.

Martin graduated from Yale University in 1995. During his time there, he wrote a 224-word poem about alcoholism as a project for a fractal geometry class, which became a well known palindromic poem. He was also a member of the Anti-Gravity Society, whose members juggle objects on Sunday evenings on Yale's Old Campus.

Although Martin was accepted into Harvard Law School, he went to New York University School of Law after he received a full scholarship. Martin withdrew from law school before the start of his final year, opting to pursue comedy over finishing his Juris Doctor.

Spica (Hangul: 스피카, stylized as SPICA) is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012 under B2M Entertainment. The group released "Doggedly" (독하게) as a prologue single on January 31, 2012 and officially debuted on February 9 with the mini album Russian Roulette. The group consists of Kim Boa, Park Sihyun, Park Narae, Yang Jiwon and Kim Bohyung.

2012: Debut, Doggedly, Russian Roulette and Lonely

In the beginning of 2012, B2M Entertainment announced that they would debut a girl group. Their name is a reference to Spica, the brightest star in the constellation of Virgo. On January 10, 2012, the group released their first digital single, "Doggedly" (독하게; also translated "Potently"). The music video sparked high interest, as their fellow label-mate Lee Hyori made an appearance.

On January 31, B2M Entertainment announced that the group would have their formal debut with a mini-album, titled Russian Roulette. The full-length music video was released on February 7. Promotions for "Russian Roulette" began two days later on M! Countdown. The lyrics of the song were later modified in order to meet MBC's broadcasting standards. The group released a repackaged extended play entitled Painkiller on March 29, promoting the title track of the same name.
