Life's Too Good, released in April 1988, was the first album by the Icelandic alternative rock-pop band The Sugarcubes, which brought fame to lead vocalist Björk. Through the first single, "Birthday", the Sugarcubes received attention in Europe and the United States.
"Ammæli", afterwards released in English as "Birthday", entered the charts outside Iceland, leading the band to put Icelandic music on the world map. "Birthday" was chosen as "single of the week" by both NME and Melody Maker in August 1987 and was also selected Number 1 in John Peel's Festive Fifty for 1987. The album was featured as one of the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
Besides the regular green sleeve, the UK and American LPs were released in blue, yellow, orange, and pink.

Up All Night is the debut studio album by English-Irish group One Direction, released by Syco Records in November 2011 in Ireland and the United Kingdom, followed by a worldwide release during 2012. Four months after finishing third in the seventh series of British reality singing contest The X Factor in December 2010, One Direction began recording the album in Sweden, UK and the United States, working with a variety of writers and producers. The album is predominantly a pop music album which orientates into pop rock, dance-pop, teen pop and power pop. The album's lyrical content regards being young, relationships, heartbreak and empowerment. Staged in support of the album, One Direction performed the album's songs live on televised shows, at awards ceremonies, and during their worldwide Up All Night Tour.
The album received generally favourable reviews from contemporary music critics, many of whom appreciated the album's combination of melodic song craft and catchy, pop-oriented material that, while slickly produced, avoided the commercial cynicism and adult contemporary posturing of some of their '80s and '90s forebears. An international success, the album topped the charts in sixteen countries and, by December 2012, has sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. The album bowed at number two on the UK Albums Chart and ultimately became the UK's fastest-selling debut album of 2011. Up All Night debuted to number one on the United States Billboard 200, selling 176,000 copies in its first week. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), Up All Night was the third global best-selling album of 2012 with sales of 4.5 million copies.

WINtA is a music video game for the iOS platform, developed pro bono by Masaya Matsuura’s NanaOn-Sha Studio and Triangle Studios, published by ngmoco under the OneBigGame charity initiative. Profits go to Save the Children and the Starlight Foundation
Matsuura-san explained in an interview that through WINtA and the OneBigGame initiative, he wishes to "contribute to the games developer society and communities".
The game consists of buttons, usually square shaped, that players must tap in rhythm with the vocals of the songs. The squares fill up with a color, and players must tap them when they’re full. The player’s timing will influence the voice sample’s timing as well, and if a square is completely missed, no voice sample will be heard. All levels share this same tapping mechanic and vocal focus, though they may look radically different from each other, as the buttons can have any color or any shape.
The title track, Masaya Matsuura's "War is Not The Answer", is included in the initial free application download, whilst additional tracks from various artists are available via in-app purchasing. Some additional tracks are also available for free download.

You know that you’re the only girl who can make this boy bleed
You’re the one, girl
So hot, whatcha gonna do, I want you

I’m gonna steal your heart away
I want you, I want you, my baby
