Too Much (Elvis Presley song)

"Too Much" is a #1 song recorded in a hit version by Elvis Presley and published by Elvis Presley Music in 1956. It was written by Bernard Weinman and Lee Rosenberg. It was first recorded in 1954 by Bernard Hardison on Republic Records. Elvis Presley recorded the song in September 1956 and first performed it on January 6, 1957 on CBS-TV's "The Ed Sullivan Show." Released as a single, Presley's "Too Much" reached number one on both the Cashbox and Billboard sales charts and went to number three on the R&B chart. The single peaked at number two on the then-named Top 100 chart, the main Billboard pop chart.

Too Cool

Too Cool is a professional wrestling tag team and occasional faction active in World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment between 1998 and 2001 and for a short time in 2004 and 2014.

1998–1999

The duo of "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and "Too Hot" Scott Taylor were originally a tag team known as Too Much. The team feuded with fellow light heavyweight wrestlers such as Taka Michinoku and aided Jerry "The King" Lawler (Christopher's father) in his feud with Al Snow.

In June 1999, Christopher became Grandmaster Sexay, Taylor became Scotty Too Hotty (later spelled as Scotty 2 Hotty) and Too Much was rebranded as Too Cool, debuting on television during the June 13, 1999 episode of Sunday Night Heat. They originally remained villainous characters, but in late 1999, around the time Rikishi Fatu joined the team, they turned into fan favorites due to growing fan popularity. Too Cool's new characteristic was that of hip hop fans, which saw the duo dancing around the ring while lights flashed and dance music played, an act that quickly became very popular with fans.

Up All Night is the debut studio album by English-Irish group One Direction, released by Syco Records in November 2011 in Ireland and the United Kingdom, followed by a worldwide release during 2012. Four months after finishing third in the seventh series of British reality singing contest The X Factor in December 2010, One Direction began recording the album in Sweden, UK and the United States, working with a variety of writers and producers. The album is predominantly a pop music album which orientates into pop rock, dance-pop, teen pop and power pop. The album's lyrical content regards being young, relationships, heartbreak and empowerment. Staged in support of the album, One Direction performed the album's songs live on televised shows, at awards ceremonies, and during their worldwide Up All Night Tour.

The album received generally favourable reviews from contemporary music critics, many of whom appreciated the album's combination of melodic song craft and catchy, pop-oriented material that, while slickly produced, avoided the commercial cynicism and adult contemporary posturing of some of their '80s and '90s forebears. An international success, the album topped the charts in sixteen countries and, by December 2012, has sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. The album bowed at number two on the UK Albums Chart and ultimately became the UK's fastest-selling debut album of 2011. Department S (band)

Department S are a British new wave band formed in 1980, who took their name from the 1960s TV series Department S. They are best known for their debut single, "Is Vic There?", which was originally released in December 1980 and reached No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart the following year.

1980s

Department S evolved from a previous punk/ska combo, Guns for Hire, fronted by Vaughn Toulouse and also featuring former Madness drummer John Hasler. Mike Herbage joined them on guitar and wrote Guns for Hire's only single, "I'm Gonna Rough My Girlfriend's Boyfriend Up Tonight", released on the Korova record label. The group then became Department S, with the addition of Eddie Roxy (later replaced by Mark Taylor) and Stuart Mizon.

They debuted at the Rock Garden in London on 24 September 1980.Demon Records subsequently released their debut single, "Is Vic There?", in December 1980 (reissued on RCA a few months later). It was produced by former Mott the Hoople members Buffin and Overend Watts, but its initial success led to the better-equipped RCA Records reissuing the single in March 1981. The single then began to climb the charts, and the band appeared on Top of the Pops. The B-side, a cover version of T.Rex's "Solid Gold Easy Action", featured Thunderthighs on backing vocals.
