Life After Cash Money is the eighth studio album by American rapper B.G.. It was released on July 27, 2004 on Chopper City Records and Koch Records. The album has production from DJ Smurf, Sinista, Dani Kartel, K.I.D.D., KLC, and more. The album features the single "My World I Want It". There are guest appearances from the Chopper City Boyz, T.I. and Ying Yang Twins.
B.G.'s rapping skills made money for the Cash Money label before he was a teenager. On 2004's Life after Cash Money, B.G. shows easy vocals gliding over magnificent Dirty South beats. He is no longer affiliated with the record company with which he was practically synonymous in the 1990s (this is his second record for Koch Records).
Like many rappers in the southern states, B.G. blends a sense of humor with a darker worldview, and occasionally leans towards the violent landscapes of the Geto Boys. On the anthemic "Factory." B.G. displays his prowess in lyrical potency while throwing in a reference to his past on "My World I Want It.'" He also proves he can change gears effectively on the semi-lewd, 1970s-inspired, funk-infused ballad "Bust a Move."
If you ask me, I would take you
To a place you've never been
I would kiss you, whisper softly
There ain't nothing I want more
If you tremble, I will hold you
And squeeze your body tight
I will soothe you, reassure you
Let me free your mind
Free
You've gotta free your mind
Free your mind
If you let me, I will touch you
In a way that turns you on
I'll caress you and excite you
Inhibitions, we'll have none
If you show me what it takes, girl
I will lay down by your side
I'll do everything you ask me to
Let me free your mind
CHORUS
Just a minute or an hour
I don't care how long it takes
I've got everything that you require
No need to hesitate
If you wander, I will follow
I will even be your guide
I'll be everything you want me to
Let me tree your mind
