On June 20, 2009 "I Wanna" entered the UK Top 100 singles chart at #84 but dropped out the next week. The same happened in Australia, but re-entered in the fall at #26. It eventually peaked at #15.[3] "I Wanna" is The All-American Rejects second highest charter in Australia, seconded by "Gives You Hell". Also, on the year-end top 100 singles chart for ARIA in 2009, "I Wanna" was ranked #88.[4]
In the August 29, 2009 issue of Billboard magazine "I Wanna" debuted at number 32 on the Mainstream Top 40. In August the song debuted on Billboard magazine component charts Pop 100 Airplay, Hot Dance Singles Sales and Hot Singles Sales that were published only on billboard.biz.[5][6][7] "I Wanna" spent a few weeks on the singles sales charts as promo CD sales being sent to radio stations and clubs increased in the weeks. Also the Pop 100 Airplay had been discontinued in June 2009, but billboard.biz still published it until the chart until the chart's final issue on August 22, 2009. "I Wanna" performed briefly on the Pop 100 Airplay until August 22. The chart information has not been for these component charts has not been retrieved by subscribers on billboard.biz.
On the issue of September 24, the song finally debuted at #95 on the Billboard Hot 100 and had since moved up to #92. It also charted moderately on the Top 40 Mainstream chart, as well as on Billboard's Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks. Its final week on the Billboard charts was at #38 on Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks, during the week of November seventh. The new "I Wanna" music video was expected to boost the song's popularity, but for some reason was never released to MTV.

The UK/Australian music video directed by Rich Lee features the band playing in front of their I Wanna Rock Tour stage setup while a couple is kissing inside their car. The video was picked up by the U.S. iTunes Store.
A while after "I Wanna" was released in the United States, another video was made, directed by Paul Hunter. The video premiered on October 13, 2009 on AOL. It was much more complex than the previous "I Wanna" video. The video features the band hosting a large party. In the video Tyson sees a girl (indicated to be his ex) with another guy. LG phones show various videos and transitions. One phone shows Tyson breaking up with the girl viewed earlier. Many teenagers trash the house and have drinking contests, many of these things in which the band is included. Drummer Chris Gaylor is seen with two girls in the front yard nude while Tyson and Nick laugh. The last scene shows the band performing in front of all the teenagers. The girl is in the crowd watching Tyson. Tyson and the girl are carried into the crowd and are shown reaching out to each other. Then they are viewed kissing on the front steps of the house, while the other guy has lost the girl and is being drawn on, passed out in a bathtub.

"I Wanna" is the first single from Bob Sinclar's eighth album, Made In Jamaïca in 2010. It features Balkan group Sahara (Andrea from Bulgaria and Costi Ionita from Romania) and Shaggy.
"I Wanna", also known in its original version as "I Wonna", was the winning song in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 performed in English by Marie N representing Latvia. With this victory, Latvia became the second Baltic state to win the Contest (Estonia had achieved the feat one year earlier).
The song was performed twenty-third on the night (following Slovenia's Sestre with "Samo ljubezen" and preceding Lithuania's Aivaras with "Happy You"). At the close of voting, it had received 176 points, placing 1st in a field of 24. The song, however, was a commercial failure both in Latvia and Europe.
Marie (along with Brainstorm lead singer Renārs Kaupers) would go on to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2003.
The song is particularly famous for Marie's performance. She began wearing a white suit and a trilby hat, which was removed by one of her dancers. As the song continued, other dancers removed her suit jacket and her dark shirt, revealing the top of a red dress. The suit trousers were then removed, revealing the bottom half of the short dress. On the final beat of the song, the hem was pulled, revealing the dress to be much longer. This visual performance was also supported by a Salsa-style song, which made full use of the more up-beat tempos increasingly finding success in the Contest.
[Jadakiss]
Yo, you can't fake it
Life's only what you make it
Front, be a snake, mess around, get your weight it
Ex-school boy who wanna go and try to take shit
Found his body, in the projects, naked
I ain't gonna lie, If I wasn't doing this now
I'd probably'd be tied down, in a small town
With my eyes on a couple of guys
With their eyes on a couple of pies
Cause I will survive
Brains, is the key to the game
If you ain't got none, what good is a shotgun?
If you ain't got guns, then you better cop some
'Cause the New World Order's around the block, dun
Streets be where Lox get their props from
Check us on the Internet, L-O-X dot com (lox.com)
A worldwide message, I try to express it
The best I could, for ya'll to cherish, till I perish
[Chorus: Kelly Price]
I wanna thank you, heavenly Father
For shining your light on me
It's been a long time
Since I had someone to love me
I owe my thanks to thee
[Styles]
They never expressed, that life's a part of death
They never go there, but you can blow here
The 25 to life and greens from below
Where, outta nowhere, you in the bus, hands is cuffed
Can't call your Mom, dog, you know times is rough
you was out yesterday, stressing a better way
Funny thing, they always seem to lock down Kings
And the thugs on the street just love to say, "It's all foul."
Watch the honeys check your style
Worthless, when they worship, what you purchase
They only see ice, not me, under the surface
What's the purpose? I just, go my way
Know my way, 'till bullets blow my way
Which they might, 'cause any night can change your life
Keep your state of mind tight and remain alright
It's plain to fight, but different to shoot
And might do it
If you ain't 10 different ways to get loot.
[Chorus: Kelly Price]
[Sheek]
Hey, yo, we handle rap like we do the street
Holding heat
It's them same crooked niggas
Watching dough, ain't nothing sweet, word
Buying beats is like copping grams
Niggas got too many scams
To give you garbage, slide the butters to their mans
That's aiight, though
'Cause even ready rock gets sold on our block
Watch us turn nothing into nitro
And we don't mingle
'Cause none of us don't really know you
From the heart, we never talk to strangers
So why start?
Anyway, we're rapping for this luxury shit
I watch wild niggas blow
See how plush shit can get
But we ain't trying to kiss ass to blow up fast
We gonna take our time and rely strictly on the rhyme
If I, wasn't that cat, Sheek Lucian, that rap
Would you still be my man
And pass your bottle to my hand
Would I be in the rain
While you pass me in the Land
Oh, you think by now that I don't already know your plan
To get next to me and possibly sex me
Then slip Ecstasy inside a nigga's Pepsi
Money'll never amount to respect, B
And you don't wanna test me
'Cause God blessed me.
[Chorus: Kelly Price]
And I know
I know that it could not happen without you
