I Wanna Be Free may refer to:
"I Wanna Be Free" is a song written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart that was first performed by The Monkees and appeared on their debut album The Monkees (album) in 1966. It was released as a single in some countries, reaching the Top 20 in Australia. It was also covered by performers such as The Lettermen.
Boyce and Hart wrote "I Wanna Be Free" for the Monkees before the group was even put together. Along with "(Theme from) The Monkees" and "Let's Dance On," it was one of the first songs written for the group. It was also the only song written for the Monkees' first album which was not written under deadline pressure. According to Allmusic critic Matthew Greenwald, the song was an attempt by Boyce and Hart to write a song like The Beatles' "Yesterday." Like "Yesterday," the instrumentation for "I Wanna Be Free" incorporates a string quartet. The instrumentation also incorporates acoustic guitar and harpsichord.Davy Jones sang the vocals.
"I Wanna Be Free" is a single by American country music artist Loretta Lynn. Released in February 1971, it was the first single from her album I Wanna Be Free. The song peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. It also reached number 1 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.

Be-Free is a humanitarian organization in Bahrain that aims to protect children from abuse and neglect. It was started on 19 March 2002, with the support of the former Human Rights Commissioner Mary Robinson.
Be-Free has 3 phases, that started successively and are ongoing.
Phase 1- Empowering Children: This phase started with the launch of the program in March 2002, and concentrated on empowering children with the essential protection skills. Be-Free believes that children can be less likely to be abused if they have some of the essential protection skills, such as "my body is mine", "good touch and bad touch", "good secret and bad secret", etc. Therefore Be-Free trains children on these skills in a fun and interactive ways. A website was created for children to teach them these skills, www.be-free.info. Children and parents can contact Be-Free for counseling or inquiries through the website or the help email provided.
Phase 2- Supporting the Parents and Caregivers: This phase focuses on helping parents and caregivers on how to protect their children from abuse, and how not to abuse their own children.
"Be Free" is the sixth single released by Mexican singer Belinda, taken from her debut album Belinda.
It reached an unexpected #3 in Mexico, #62 in Slovenia and #99 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Belinda was the first Mexican artist who released a song in English and entered the Yugoslav charts. This song was written mostly to introduce Belinda to an English speaking audience, but the attempt failed; however she later achieved this by later starring in the Disney Channel original movie The Cheetah Girls 2.
Libra is the sixth studio album by American singer Toni Braxton. It was released on September 27, 2005 by Blackground Records. The album's title is a reference to Braxton's astrological sign, Libra.
The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and at number two on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 114,000 copies in its first week. Only three singles were released from the album, and due to lack of promotion from Blackground Records, Braxton's then-record label, all of them failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, subsequently causing Braxton to terminate her contract with the label. Nonetheless, as a result of the European success of "The Time of Our Lives"—Braxton's collaboration with the group Il Divo, which served as the official 2006 FIFA World Cup theme song—, German label Edel Records re-released the album in continental Europe in late June 2006 including "The Time of Our Lives" as well as a brand-new cover art. Previously, the regular European edition of the album had included three bonus tracks: "Suddenly", "I Hate You", and "Long Way Home". The song "Stupid", which is track 8 of the album, has briefly appeared in the 2005 Tyler Perry film Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
I know he said we'd be together
In my mind
And then forever
But things have changed
They're not the same
How can we go on lovin' this way
You say you love me
But you really don't
You want to argue
And I just won't
It's bad enough
I have to come home to
A man who puts me in a real bad
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me
It just seemed fair
To blame it on you
All these problems
That we're going through
Sometimes it's me
Who gets you upset
But when it's you
You won't admit it
We try to talk but we must understand
So I stay quiet
And you get all mad
It's bad enough
I have to come home to
A man who puts me in a real bad mood
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me (you're causing me)
I wanna be free (I wanna be free (repeat in background))
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me
I don't know what I'm gonna do
After all that I did for you (what?)
Just showed you love
I stayed true
But it seems it still won't do
All you go fussin' and cussin' (uh huh)
At eachother like we enemies
Goin' against the grain
With nothing but negative energy (whatever)
I'm not saying
That I ain't got no faults
And I'm perfect
But all this stressin' me
Me stressin'' you
Tell me is it worth it
On the phone
With your friends
Puttin' 'em in our business
We might as well go on Jerry Springer
And get it off the ringer (alright then)
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me (why are you causing me:)
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me (eh ehhh ooOooOhhh:)
I wanna be free (I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me (why are you causing me so much pain:)
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache
You're causing me (causing me:)
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache (I wanna be free, oOoohoOoh)
You're causing me
I wanna be free
From the love
From the pain
From the heartache (your causing me, your causing me)
You're causing me (from your love)
Your causing me
Your causing me
(yeaaa)
(oooOoh)
(oh)
I wanna
(I wanna be free)
(I wanna be free)
(oOoh)
(I wanna be free)
