"Say I" is a song written by Jeff Stevens and Steve Bogard, and recorded by American country music group Alabama. It was released in May 1996 as the fourth single from the album In Pictures. The song reached number 38 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
I Say I Say I Say is the sixth studio album from synthpop duo Erasure, released in 1994 by Mute Records in the UK and Elektra Records in the U.S. The album was produced by Martyn Ware, who was a founding member of veteran synthpop groups The Human League and Heaven 17.
Upon its release it became Erasure's fifth consecutive album to hit no.1 in the UK, generating three Top 20 singles. In the U.S., I Say I Say I Say debuted and peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200, easily beating their previous highest chart placing. In Germany, the album climbed to #6.
Although Erasure always maintained popularity in the U.S. dance club community, with the rise of grunge rock Erasure saw their exposure on college radio, mainstream stations and MTV become mostly non-existent by 1994. This made it even more of a surprise when the ballad "Always" gave them their third Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in September.
The album saw keyboardist/programmer Vince Clarke continue with his by-then trademark exclusive usage of pre-MIDI analog synthesizers and sequencers, with the additional self-imposed constraint that no drum machines were to be used either. Instead, Clarke used synthesizers to create the album's drum and percussion sounds.

"Say (All I Need)" is a song by American pop rock band OneRepublic. It is the third single released from their debut album Dreaming Out Loud and follows the global success of their previous top ten singles, "Apologize" and "Stop and Stare". All five members of the band Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Eddie Fisher and Brent Kutzle share writing and composing credits on the song. The single was released in the UK on June 2, 2008 and features their Live Lounge cover of Duffy's single "Mercy". The single was released on June 24, 2008 in the United States.

"Say" is a song by John Mayer written for the Rob Reiner film The Bucket List in 2007. It was released as a single on November 20 and is the first commercial single in Mayer's career that was not originally released on one of his albums but added to the special edition re-release of his album, Continuum. In the U.S., it has become the artist's highest charting single to date, reaching number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100 in May, 2008. The song earned Mayer another Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, his fourth win on the category.
The music video for "Say" was directed by music video director Vem. The song is also referred to as "Say (What You Need to Say)" as this is the main line from the chorus of the song. The song was also the first "assignment" song that Mayer had ever written. He felt a little soul-less in the initial composition, writing just a terribly simple song. He notes that when writing the song "I don't know how much harder it gets than to see a beautiful, bittersweet movie and then have to write a song that matches the tone." Mayer posted the song on his official blog on November 16.
For the first time in my life
I'm up to run away
It's not a choice that I made easily
It's not that I'm ashamed
To face the light of day
It's really just a case of self delusion
And I know it ain't easy
I know it ain't easy
I know it ain't easy
To see the truth
So run to the sun
Here's one for the road
And may God's love go with you
My tears are starting to show
Waah ...
Run to the sun
And may God's love go with you
I cry my tears
Who will be my hero
That I should fall from grace
Implies a twist of fate
But I'm open to the joys
And woes of passion
And who shall take the wheel
When it's time for overkill
There's no release when
Destiny is calling
And I know it ain't easy
Somebody reach me
Willing to teach me
So run to the sun
Here's one for the road
Though I'll never be lonely
Are you so hight above me?
Woah ...
Run to the sun
See how my life is changing
The days go by
I wonder if I'll make it
