I Luv U (Dizzee Rascal song)

"I Luv U" is the debut single by British rapper Dizzee Rascal and the lead single from his debut album Boy in da Corner. It was released in May 2003 after a test pressing had leaked to the Internet in 2002. The single became Dizzee Rascal's first top forty hit, peaking at number twenty-nine and spending three weeks inside the top seventy-five. It is sometimes mistaken for the second single released by Dizzee Rascal, after number two, "Fix Up, Look Sharp".

The song was produced with female vocalist and East London rapper Shystie.

The song opens with a stuttering voice repeating the song's title, leading into a bass-heavy rhythm. It discusses about teenage relationships, teenage pregnancy, undesirable player girls and falling for girls who are using you. More specifically, the song chronicles a relationship where sex is used as blackmail ending up in the eventual breakdown of said relationship when the male character starts fantasizing about a college girl. Although the college girl has escaped the ghetto via education, according to Dizzee, she still gives "ghetto head". These are all things that are said in a joking manner, yet they sound all too real and horrifying.The Wire described "I Luv U"'s impact on grime as analogous to "Anarchy in the U.K." for punk rock. The track was named as one of the best songs released between 2000 and 2003 in the 2008 book The Pitchfork 500: Our Guide to the Greatest Songs from Punk to the Present.

I Luv U (The Ordinary Boys song)

"I Luv U" is a song by English indie rock group The Ordinary Boys, released in early 2007. The song was taken from their album How to Get Everything You Ever Wanted in Ten Easy Steps and features a distinctive double-bass line. It reached #7 in the UK Singles Chart, and #5 in the UK Download Chart. The video for the song was recorded in an old TV studio, and shot on a vintage Ikegami camera. The video is set in a fictional 1970s style music cabaret. The video was directed by U.K director Nick Collett.

Luv' was a Dutch female pop trio that scored a string of hit records in Continental Europe (Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Denmark) as well as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Mexico in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This girl group consisted of Patty Brard, José Hoebee and Marga Scheide. In 1979, Luv' was "Holland's best export act" and thus received the "Conamus Export Prize".

The band sold more than seven million records worldwide (singles and albums). Among their greatest hits were: U.O.Me (Welcome To Waldolala), You're the Greatest Lover, Trojan Horse, Casanova and Ooh, Yes I Do. The formation went through line-up changes and the original singers reunited several times. They had a hectic schedule between 2006 and 2008. They gave their final performance on August 11, 2012 in Spaarnwoude at the Dutch Valley Festival. Two members of the pop act have had a successful solo career in their homeland: Patty as a TV personality and José as a vocalist.

Pink Luv is the fifth mini-album by South Korean girl group Apink, released on November 24, 2014. The album's lead single is the title track "Luv".

Release and promotion

The EP Pink Luv was released on November 24. "Luv" debuted at number 2 on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and stayed there for two weeks. It scored Apink's first three triple crown wins in music shows (MTV The Show, Music Core and Inkigayo.)

Apink performed a snippet of "Secret", a track on their album, in addition to a full performance of "Luv" on KBS's Music Bank on November 21. This was followed by additional comebacks on music programs including MBC's Show! Music Core, SBS's Inkigayo , SBS's The Show, MBC Music's Show Champion and Mnet's M! Countdown. Apink received 17 trophies in total on the aforementioned music shows with "Luv".
