Liam Wilson

Liam Wilson (born on December 22, 1979) has been the bass player for the band The Dillinger Escape Plan since the autumn of 2000 and is a former bass player of the band Starkweather.

Personal life

A vegan who is concerned about environmental causes, Liam wore a shirt with the homemade message "Stop MTM/VF" on The Dillinger Escape Plan's February 2, 2008 appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Liam has been vegan for over ten years, and has appeared in several pro-vegan advertisements for PETA.

Other work

Liam was featured on the cover of Bass Player Magazine's September 2013 issue and has also written several columns for Bass Player magazine in which he extols the virtues of Bikram Yoga in relation to his bass playing.

Liam also performed with the band Frodus (aptly labeled 'Frodus Escape Plan') for a few reunion shows March 2009 as a statement in response to the bank-bailouts and the uncovering of corporate corruption in the financial sector.

I-GO

I-GO was a Chicago-based car sharing organization owned by Enterprise Holdings. I-GO was established in 2002 by the Center for Neighborhood Technology as an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating and implementing new strategies that make urban communities more livable and environmentally sustainable. I-GO was sold to Enterprise Holdings in May 2013 and re-branded as Enterprise CarShare.

Mission

I-GO’s mission was to reduce car ownership rates, decrease transportation costs, reduce urban congestion and improve air quality in Chicago. From its inception, I-GO worked to catalyze a set of transportation innovations that make it feasible and desirable for Chicago residents to get around conveniently and economically without having to own a car and, at the same time, reduce vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas emissions. By contributing to the environmental improvement of the Chicago area and the decrease in expenses for residents, I-GO's triple bottom line impact provided a significant social return on investment.

Ultima Foods

Ultima Foods Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer and marketer of yogurt and fresh dairy products. Founded in 1993 (with predecessor operations dating to 1971), Ultima Foods is a partnership of Quebec-based dairy company Agropur and Alberta-based Agrifoods International Cooperative Ltd, and has 750 employees across the country.

The company launched the iögo brand of yogurt and fresh dairy products in Canada in mid-August 2012, and also owns and operates the Olympic brand of dairy products. Ultima Foods also continues to manufacture (but no longer directly sells) Yoplait-branded products in Canada.

History

In 1971, the Quebec-based Coopérative agricole de Granby (renamed Agropur in 1979) obtained the Canadian licence to manufacture and market Yoplait products. In 1993, Agropur's yogurt manufacturing and marketing operations were combined with those of Agrifoods, a federal cooperative owned by 2,500 dairy producers in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, forming Ultima Foods.

Polina, aka Polina Goudieva, is an American-based, Russian born, Grammy Award award winning singer-songwriter. She co-wrote and is featured on "Book of Love" her single with Felix Jaehn which held number one position on the German Airplay chart for four weeks.

Early years

Born in Moscow, Polina was musically inclined from an early age. The daughter of Russian pop singer Anka, she grew up in a world of singing and performing. She played on the classical piano, and soon after she began writing, producing and singing her own songs. During the electronic music boom in Europe in the 1990s, Polina found her true calling and has since combined her pop sensibilities with her passion for electronic and dance music.

Career

Since her humble beginnings, she moved to New York where she met Sandy Vee & production team, Stargate. Together, they co-wrote platinum recording artist Sean Kingston's 2011 single "Sleep All Day (Party All Night)", which peaked at number seven in the UK Pop Singles chart and number one on the UK R&B Singles chart. The song was featured on the soundtrack of The Inbetweeners Movie, the most successful comedy film in British history. After signing a publishing deal with Ultra, she has gone onto work with some of the biggest names in Electronic music, including Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Moguai, Todd Terry & many more.
