"I Follow Rivers" is a song by Swedish recording artist Lykke Li from her second studio album, Wounded Rhymes (2011). Produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John, it was released in Sweden on 21 January 2011 as the album's second single.^[1] The track premiered exclusively on SPIN.com on 10 January 2011.^[2] The music video was directed by Tarik Saleh and features Li in a black robe and veil chasing a man (Fares Fares) through a snowy landscape.

The song became a European-wide hit after a remix, by The Magician, was released in the autumn of 2011.

A cover version by Belgian band Triggerfinger reached number one in Belgium and the Netherlands in April 2012, while Lykke Li's remixed version was still in the top ten of these two countries.

• The Belgian band Triggerfinger covered "I Follow Rivers" on the Dutch radio channel 3FM in what was called "a fragile version". Curiously they used glasses, cups and knives to create a rhythmical background section.^[5]
• "I Follow Rivers" was performed by Jenna Ushkowitz's character Tina Cohen-Chang in the Glee episode "A Night of Neglect", originally aired 19 April 2011.^[6]
• OFWGKTA's Tyler the Creator also made a remix of the song, which surfaced on the Internet in February 2011.^[7]
• Plain Jane Automobile covered "I Follow Rivers" and surfaced on the Internet in February 2012.
