"I Do" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Jewel. It was released in June 2008 as the second single her album Perfectly Clear. The song was Jewel's second Top 40 country hit, although it was less-successful than its predecessor, reaching a peak of number 38 after a short chart run.

"I Do" is a mid-tempo love song backed primarily with percussion and features steel guitar and string fills, and an electric guitar bridge. The narrator describes a love that is troublesome and with barriers that need to be overcome: "Well, our hearts are locked inside an iron box / We're both too afraid to reveal our most tender parts, oh."

SFGate recommended "I Do" as one of the best tracks in a review of Perfectly Clear (alongside "Everything Reminds Me of You" and "Till It Feels Like Cheating"). "[They] have a distinct and believable point of view, and the arrangements merge modern Nashville gloss with an acoustic base that works with Jewel's idiosyncratic, breathy voice. Also, her typical lyrical slant — taking a positive yet earthy look at everyday life — fits country music as snugly as two Lego blocks locking together." Hip Online's review of the album, was less favorable, "[It is] pretty, unremarkable. It goes from a total country song like “Stronger Woman” to a folksy track like this is really startling."

I Do is an American drama film, released in 2012. Directed by Glenn Gaylord and written and produced by David W. Ross, the film stars Ross as Jack Edwards, a gay artist from England living and working in New York City. Following the death of his brother Peter (Grant Bowler), he enters into a green card marriage with his lesbian best friend Ali (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) so that he can stay in the country to help his widowed sister-in-law Mya (Alicia Witt), but is then forced to confront the unequal status of same-sex marriage as he meets and falls in love with Mano (Maurice Compte).

The film premiered at Los Angeles' Outfest on July 18, 2012, and was screened at several LGBT and mainstream film festivals in late 2012 and early 2013. It had a general theatrical release on May 31, 2013.

Meanwhile, Ryder Lynn (Blake Jenner) decides to help Jake Puckerman (Jacob Artist) give his girlfriend Marley Rose (Melissa Benoist) a great Valentine's Day, even though Ryder also has feelings for her. On Ryder's advice, Jake serenades Marley with one of her favorite songs, "You're All I Need to Get By".
