ITEM club

'ITEM', in 'The EY ITEM Club', stands for Independent Treasury Economic Model. The EY ITEM Club is an economic forecasting group based in the United Kingdom. It produces quarterly economic UK forecasts, which are often mentioned in the UK news media. It was founded in 1977 and is sponsored by EY (Ernst & Young LLP), a leading firm of business and financial advisers with some 212,000 staff in around 150 countries. ITEM is said to be independent of any political, academic or commercial bias despite corporate sponsorship. Its independence is underpinned by the untied sponsorship of EY. The club was officially named "The EY ITEM Club" in 2012.

The UK model is used by HM Treasury for its policy analysis and biannual Industry Act forecasts for the Budget. This enables ITEM to explore the implications and unpublished assumptions behind Government forecasts and policy measures. Uniquely, ITEM can test whether Government claims are consistent and can assess which forecasts are credible and which are not.

Item is the first release of Onetwo, and also the first release on the There(There) label. It contains five songs; the last song is a reprise of the first track, "Sister".

Releases

Item was the first release on eBay's record label distribution service, Übersonik. The initial pressing, with a yellow blur on the front, was limited to 2000 copies. It was reissued in November 2004 with a yellow/purple blur on the sleeve, known as "Colour variant 5". In 2007 there was another reissue, "Colour Variant 7", with a red/purple blur. The second and third editions were distributed via There(There)'s website.

Item (gaming)

In pencil and paper games and computer and video games, an item is an object within the game world that can be collected by a player or, occasionally, a non-player character. These items are sometimes called pick-ups.

Items are most often beneficial to the player character. Some games contain detrimental items, such as cursed pieces of armor that confers a negative bonus to the wearer and cannot be removed until the curse itself is lifted; the means to do this may be costly or require a special item. Some items may also be of absolutely no value to the player. Items are especially prevalent in role-playing games, as they are usually necessary for the completion of quests or to advance through the story.

Types of items

Items often come in various types and in most games where items are collected, they are sorted by these types. In RPGs, an item inventory is a common UI feature where one can view all the items that have been collected thus far. Often, these are sorted by categories, such as "equipment" or "Potions." In other game genres, the items may take effect as soon as they are obtained.
