IBU Cup

The IBU Cup in biathlon has been held since the winter seasons of 1982/83 and 1988/89, for women and men, respectively. Until the 2007/08 season this competition was called European Cup. It is the second-rank competition in biathlon after the Biathlon World Cup. The IBU Cup season lasts from November/December to March, with contests in a different venue almost every week.

Mount Ibu

Mount Ibu (Indonesian: Gunung Ibu) is a stratovolcano located at the north-west coast of Halmahera island, Indonesia. The summit is truncated and contains nested craters. The inner crater is 1 km wide and 400 m deep, while the outer is 1.2 km wide. A large parasitic cone is located at the north-east of the summit and a smaller one at the south-west. The latter feeds a lava flow down the west flank. A group of maars are located on the western and northern side of the volcano.

Cup

A cup is a small open container used for drinking and carrying drinks. The cup is a unit of measurement for volume, used in cooking to measure liquids (fluid measurement) and bulk foods such as granulated sugar (dry measurement). It is principally used in the United States and Liberia where it is a legally defined unit of measurement. Actual cups used in a household in any country may differ from the cup size used for recipes; standard measuring cups, often calibrated in fluid measure and weights of usual dry ingredients as well as in cups, are available.
