Usha (born 29 May 1980), known professionally as Singer Usha, is a Telugu playback singer. In a career spanning about 10 years, she has established herself as one of the leading playback singers in Telugu film industry and has worked with many major music directors.

    Career

    Music competitions

Usha began her singing career with "Paadutha Teeyaga", a music based program on Eenadu Television hosted by legendary singer Sri. SP Balasubramanyam. She stood first in the competition and later followed up by winning another music contest titled "Navaragam" on Gemini TV.

Usha participated in various music-related shows on TV between 1996 and 2000. Her performance in "Endaro Mahanubhavlu" on Gemini TV won her appreciation and applause from the audience. She later participated in "Meri Awaz Suno" on Star TV and was one of the finalists in the All-India finals. She also participated in various Hindi programs on channels like ELTV and Zee TV.

    Movie career

Usha got her maiden opportunity from Sri. Vandemataram Srinivas, renowned music director. Her first song was from the movie Illalu. She got her major break in Telugu film industry in 2000. She sang various chart busters for Telugu movies like Indra, Chiruta, Athidhi, Pourudu, Varsham, Bhadra, Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Manasantha Nuvve, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Jayam, Santhosham, Nee Sneham, Avunanna Kadanna and many more (for complete filmography, please see the section below).

    Usha (city)

Coordinates: 32°47′58″N 35°08′48″E / 32.799414°N 35.146701°E / 32.799414; 35.146701 Usha was a city in the Western part of Galilee. It is noteworthy because in the 2nd century (c. 135), the Sanhedrin, or rabbinic court, was moved from Yavne in Judea to Usha, and then from Usha back to Yavne, and a second time from Yavne to Usha.

The final settlement in Usha indicates the ultimate spiritual supremacy of Galilee over Judea, the latter having become depopulated after the Second Jewish Revolt. Usha was also important because some of the pupils of Rabbi Akiba resided there, including Judah ben Ilai, whose original home was in Usha.

    Hurt You

    by: Toni Braxton

    Baby I was wrong
    I misjudged you
And baby I was wrong to not trust you
And baby I was wrong but I won't be wrong again
    Listen baby
And baby I was wrong when I left you
And maybe I'd be used up without you
Baby I'll be damned if I don't let you in my life again
    Its you, its me
    But hold up, who's she
    What was I thinking
All I know right now is that I hate you
For what you put me through
With all of my heart I hate that girl you're with too
I hate you and everything about you
I won't apologize, you need to recognize
With all of my heart I hate that I love you
What could I have done not to hurt you
And what could I have done to not push you away
Tell me what I've done and I won't do it again oh babe
Just tell me what I did to deserve this
And tell me why you gave someone else my kiss
And maybe I won't die if you're back in my life again
    You, its me
    But hold up, who's she
    What was I thinking (damn)
All I know right now is that I hate you
For what you put me through
With all of my heart I hate that girl you're with too
I hate you and everything about you
I won't apologize, you need to recognize
With all of my heart I hate that I love you
I hate the fact that I think about you
I hate that I can't sleep without you
I just can't get over not making love to you
I never thought that we'd end up like this
And heaven knows that my heart just can't take . . .
    Damn for sure . . .I know right now . . .
    Its you, its me
    But hold up, who's she
    What was I thinking
All I know right now is that I hate you
For what you put me through
With all of my heart I hate that girl you're with too
I hate you and everything about you
I won't apologize, you need to recognize
With all of my heart I hate that I love you
