Huayno (Wayñu in Aymara and Quechua) is a genre of popular Andean Music and dance originally from Andes highlands. It is especially common in Peru, but also present in Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and Ecuador, and is practiced by a variety of ethnic groups, including the Quechua and Aymara people. The history of Huayno dates back to the colonial Peru as a combination of traditional rural folk music and popular urban dance music. High-pitched vocals are accompanied by a variety of instruments, including quena (flute), harp, siku (panpipe), accordion, saxophone, charango, lute, violin, guitar, and mandolin. Some elements of huayno originate in the music of the pre-Columbian Andes, especially on the territory of former Inca Empire. Huayno utilizes a distinctive rhythm in which the first beat is stressed and followed by two short beats.
Something about yesterday night
It keeps replaying over, over, over mmmm
You are the sweetest wine
and I'm just a cup running over and over again
Because you've got that something something thats just like me
I can't put my finger on it, this chemistry
We agreed
Chorus
We've got the love of a lifetime
The moon and the stars are all in line
We got the thing at its alrite
Its more than love, its more than love
You don't have to worry about me
I've got something thats precious, precious
won't lose it, no, no
Your loves a mystery
page after page just gets better as we go along
Because we've got that something something thats sweeter than words
at least my eyes haven't seen, no my ears haven't heard
what I've needed, all of my life
has finally come to me and its all mine
Chorus
We've got the love of a lifetime (we've got the love)
The moon, the stars are all in line (all in line)
We got the thing and its alrite (alrite)
its more than love, its more than love, its more than love
We've got the love of a lifetime (we got it)
The moon, the stars are all in line (all in line)
We got the thing and its alrite (alrite)
its more than love, its more than love, its more than love
