La Vida... es un Ratico (Life... Is a Moment) is the fourth studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes, which was released on October 23, 2007.

Album history

Juanes has stated that the album is to be completed in Spanish and has a "very Colombian" sound to it. Juanes co-produced this record, working with a two-time Academy Award-winning producer, Gustavo Santaolalla. It has been said that the album has typical Colombian sounds, such as the "guasca," "vallenato," and "cumbia."

When choosing the name for this record, Juanes was inspired by a conversation he had with his mother, who told him to "Not worry, because life is just a moment." Following what that phrase means, Juanes thought of creating an album remembering that life passes you by in a blink of an eye and concentrating more on his family and beloved beings.

The first single "Me Enamora" was released on September 3, 2007 to the media and online stores, such as iTunes and reached number one in 19 countries. The second single is "Gotas de Agua Dulce".

"Me Voy" (English: I'm Leaving) is a song performed by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. The song was recorded for her tenth studio album, Brava!. A remix featuring the Mexican singer-songwriter Espinoza Paz was released as the album's second official single in Latin America on February 14, 2012.

The remix featuring Paz can be found on the Mexican edition of Rubio's EP, Bravísima!

Promotion

Paulina and Espinoza performed the song during Premios Lo Nuestro for the first televised performance of the song. She surprised Espinoza’s fans during one of his concerts by appearing on stage and performing the song together for the first time ever. The song is also included in the soundtrack for Univision’s new soap opera, “El Talismán”, which airs daily on the Univision network.

"Gone" is a song by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson, from her second studio album, Breakaway (2004). Written by Kara DioGuardi and co-written and produced by John Shanks, "Gone" is a pop rock song about a woman leaving her lover in search for a better relationship. "Gone" was well received my music critics, though it garnered comparisons with similarly-titled "Since U Been Gone". Two years after Breakaway's release, "Gone" charted in the Billboard Pop 100 chart at number 77. Clarkson has also performed the song in concert tours, primarily during the Breakaway World Tour from 2005–06 and the Stronger Tour in 2012.

Background and composition

"Gone" was written by Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks, with Shanks also serving as the song's producer. It was one of the two collaborations by DioGuardi and Shanks for Kelly Clarkson's second studio album, Breakaway, along with "You Found Me". Written by in the key of D minor, "Gone" is an uptempo pop rock song with a length of 3 minutes and 25 seconds. Clarkson describes it as "feisty". Mexican pop band RBD released a Spanish cover of the song titled "Me Voy" for their second studio album, Nuestro Amor (2005). They would later re-record the original version in English on the Japanese edition of their first English-language album Rebels (2006).
