Honda MT125R

The Honda MT125R was a production Grand Prix motorcycle racing roadracer designed for closed-course competition roadracing. It was produced by Honda Racing Service Center (RSC) and made available to the general public. It was also marketed for the U.S. market in the years 1977–1978 through the American Honda Motorcycle dealer network.

For many champion motorcycle roadracers, the road to the top started on a small engine capacity two-cycle motorcycle. Top roadracers like Randy Mamola got their start on a 125 cc GP racer. Others like Ángel Nieto spent their entire careers racing in the 50 cc, 80 cc and 125 cc classes.

Honda MT50

The Honda MT50 is an off road styled moped, common in Scandinavia and the Netherlands but also sold in other countries including UK and USA, that is more commonly known as the Honda MT5. Some countries had restricted versions designed to be ridden by learners. Its leading competitor was the Yamaha DT50MX. Production started 1979 and ended 2000. It stopped being imported in 1983 to be replaced by the Honda MTX50 but was reintroduced in 1990. Its sister was the MB50/MB5 which was the road-styled version of the bike.
