Holmavatnet or Holmevatnet is a lake in the municipality of Kvam in Hordaland county, Norway. It is located on the north side of Kvamskogen, about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northwest of the municipal centre of Norheimsund. The western end of the lake is dammed for purposes of hydroelectric power generation.

Holmavatnet (Vinje)

Holmavatnet is a lake the Setesdalsheiene mountains of Southern Norway. It is located on the border of the municipalities of Suldal (in Rogaland county), Vinje (in Telemark county), and a small part in Bykle (in Aust-Agder county). The European route E134 passes through the village of Edland in Vinje, about 22 kilometres (14 mi) northeast of the lake. The lake Skyvatn is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the south of the lake.
