Highlander: Endgame is an American 2000 fantasy film originally released on September 1, 2000. It is the fourth theatrical release in the Highlander film series, and it serves as a continuation of both the Highlander films and the Highlander television series. The film stars Adrian Paul as Duncan MacLeod, the lead character of the series, and Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod, the lead character of the films.
In A.D. 1555, Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) returns to his former home in Glenfinnan, Scotland, to save his mother from his former friend and village priest Jacob Kell (Bruce Payne). Kell executes Connor's mother for witchcraft. Connor kills both Kell and Kell's adopted father, Father Rainey, and sets Glenfinnan ablaze. Jacob Kell is reborn as an Immortal, and vows vengeance against Connor for Rainey's death. He spends the next four centuries killing people Connor cares about. Kell amasses great power by ignoring the rules of The Game; he recruits several lesser Immortals as disciples, who overpower other Immortals so Kell can take their heads. By the turn of the century, Kell has 661 Immortal kills (compared to 262 for Connor MacLeod, and 174 for Duncan MacLeod).
Season eight of Stargate SG-1, an American-Canadian military science fiction television series, began airing on July 9, 2004 on the Sci Fi channel. The eighth season concluded on February 22, 2005, after 20 episodes on British Sky One, which overtook the Sci Fi Channel in mid-season. This was the first season of the show to have 20 episodes instead of 22, as well as the first to air concurrently with Stargate SG-1 spinoff series Stargate Atlantis (the first season thereof). The series was originally developed by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner, while Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper served as executive producers. Season eight regular cast members include Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, and Michael Shanks. The eighth season begins with the SG-1 team trying to revive Colonel Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) after the events of the seventh season. At the end of the two-episode season opener, Colonel O'Neill is promoted to General and assumes command of Stargate Command (SGC), while Major Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) is promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and assumes command of SG-1. The season arc centers on the growing threat and seemingly final defeat of the Goa'uld and the Replicators, races who were introduced in the first and third season of the show, respectively.
"Endgame" is the title of the series finale of the American science fiction television series, Star Trek: Voyager, episodes 25 and 26 of the seventh season and 171 and 172 in the overall series. Originally shown May 23, 2001 on the UPN network as a double-length episode and later presented as such in DVD collections, it is shown in syndicated broadcasts as a two-part story.
In the year 2404, the Federation is celebrating the tenth anniversary of Voyager's return to Earth from 23 years in the Delta Quadrant. However, an elderly Admiral Kathryn Janeway acquires a chrono deflector from a Klingon named Korath and uses it on her shuttle to travel back to 2378 in the Delta Quadrant. She pulls rank on her younger self, ordering Voyager to emit an anti-tachyon pulse which collapses the temporal distortion and prevents the Klingons from following her through.
On board her old starship, the Admiral tells her younger self to return to a nebula filled with Borg which they passed by a few days ago. She provides advanced technologies which would give Voyager the opportunity to get past the massive Borg defenses and enter a transwarp corridor. The Borg, despite spying on the ship and preparing for its attack, are unable to penetrate Voyager's new adaptive hull armor nor capture it with tractor beams while Voyager destroys two Borg cubes with transphasic torpedoes. They then come upon a Borg transwarp hub at the center, which could save the ship sixteen more years of being stranded in the Delta Quadrant.
Endgame is an upcoming EP by American Christian metal band Blood of the Martyrs. It will be the group's first release with lead vocalist Jason Wilkins. The EP was produced by Andreas Magnusson, who has worked with bands such as Haste the Day, Oh, Sleeper, and Impending Doom.
After completing touring for their second studio album Completionist, Blood of the Martyrs announced in early 2014 that they had started writing new music. Shortly after the announcement lead vocalist/keyboardist Lee Zook announced that he would be leaving the band. Blood of the Martyrs hired Eric Hendricks as a touring vocalist, releasing a re-recorded version of "Lady Nightshade" from their debut album with Hendricks. In 2015 the band announced they had hired Jason Wilkins as their new vocalist and would resume work on the record. On January 22, 2016 the band premiered a video for the single "The Devil's Grip" via Revolvers website.
The sound of the EP resembles more of a metalcore sound, as opposed to the band's previous deathcore/symphonic metal sound heard on previous releases. The album also features clean vocals, something only previously heard on the band's cover songs.
Monster Clown (Born February 24, 1976) is the ring name of a Mexican Luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler. He is best known as part of Los Psycho Circus in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) along with Psycho Clown and Murder Clown where they portray a trio of "evil clowns". They are currently in their second reign as the AAA World Trios Champions. Monster Clown's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. While his real name has not been revealed it has been established that he previously worked under the ring names Highlander and Aliens before becoming a part of Los Psycho Circus. In the summer of 2009 he was forced to change his ring name from Zombie Clown to Monster Clown due to copyright problems.
The wrestler who would later be known as Monster Clown began his professional wrestling career in 1997 as the enmascarado (masked wrestler) "Highlander" working primarily in and around the Tijuana, Baja California area. He some times worked on Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) shows when the promotion ran shows in Tijuana, but was not a full-time member of the roster. In 200X he began working more for AAA as AAA owner Antonio Peña came up with a new ring character for him called "Aliens". The "Aliens" character was that of an actual alien from space who had come to earth to wrestle. He was even given a mascota (a Mini-Estrella companion) called "Mungo". The odd duo joined up with Madrox and Kriptor to form the group "Los Alienigenas" and worked a feud with the colorful duo of El Alebrije and Cuije. When Peña died in the fall of 2007 the Aliens character quickly dropped as it did not fit with the direction the new management wanted.
