Hi-5 House

Hi-5 House is an Australian children's television program, a revamped version of the original series Hi-5, which originally debuted in 1999. The series stars the internationally popular children's musical group Hi-5 and holds strong educational values while entertaining through music. Hi-5 House was filmed in Singapore (Series 1) and Malaysia (Series 2 - present), the original series having only ever been filmed in Australia. The series debuted on Nick Jr. Australia on 4 November 2013 before making international premieres.

Format

The program remains similar to the format of the original, providing children with education through music and movement. Hi-5 House caters to a wide range of children's learning styles, displayed through a variety of segments within the program. Child-development experts work with writers on every script. Each show is built around a simple theme like colours, music, animals, or numbers. Each show is then divided into segments that teach the concept in different ways. Music is seen as the method of joining the segments of the program together as well as highlighting the concepts and themes of each program. In Hi-5 House, each of the traditional segments were adapted to take place in a room of the "Hi-5 House", to replicate a child's immediate learning surroundings.

Hi-5 (British TV series)

Hi-5, a British children's television program, was aired at 2008. It was based on the original Australian TV show of the same name. Hi-5 is known as a children's pop music group as well as being a television show. They also teach arts and crafts.

On 21 June 2015, it was announced that the series would return for a new season with a new cast taking over, set to start in late 2015.

Each presenter hosts an education centric segment of the show. At times, they're assisted by their co-presenters to display social skills and group problem solving skills.

Hi-5 (Australian TV series)

Hi-5 is an Australian children's television program, was first shown on the Nine Network in 1999 and is based on the children's music group Hi-5. Hi-5 is a children's pop music group much like peer children's entertainers The Wiggles. Hi-5 has been shown in approximately 80 countries.

Each series has 45 episodes with nine weekly themes. In 2004 (Series 6), the show was marked by reduced episodes than normal, with 30 episodes in six weekly themes due to the band concentrating more on touring. In 2012, no new series was filmed, with a repeat of Series 13 being shown instead.

In 2009 was marked the beginning of the "second generation" of Hi-5, with all of the original members having departed in 2007-2008. The series was renewed for another five years with the new cast by the Nine Network, which would have the contract expire in 2013.

In 2013, a new Hi-5 television show, Hi-5 House was created as a continuation/replacement of the original series.
