Fly!

Fly! is a flight simulator for PC and Apple Macintosh computers developed by Terminal Reality and published by Gathering of Developers. It includes simulation of air traffic control features as well as aircraft's on-board systems, and was acclaimed for its highly detailed fully working interactive cockpits. Featured aircraft were exclusively fixed-wing light to medium aircraft. An enhanced version, Fly! 2K, and add-on, Wilco's 737 for Fly!, were released in 2000. A sequel, Fly! II, was released in 2001.

Lyrical interpretation

MUSICInsideU says that "Fly is about the battle between who people think he is and tie him down to, and who he really is. "These people never notice me. Am I the only one who thinks it's hard." Phillip breaks other people's categories of him, mixing rock guitar solos with his typical acoustic sound. His almost-country style voice also blends with darker rock lyrics in the new single Fly." He added "The meaning of Phillip Phillips' Fly is about who he is - applied to you, it's about who you are. Outside, there's "the busy street... these people never notice me." I don't fit in, says Phillip, "it's hard to say what's on my mind." The questions are "give up? How should I survive?" A part feels like just giving in and blending into the "two thousand faces" of the crowd. The deeper part of Phillip rebels against just being like everyone else. "Think your fight is over? It's only so much closer." Phillip won't give up breaking out of the walls of this "cruel maze" of a nameless society: "I reach my hands to the sky... and fly!""

Fly (clothing)

A fly on clothing is a covering over an opening concealing the mechanism, such as a zip, velcro, or buttons, used to close the opening. The term is most frequently applied to a short opening over the groin in trousers, shorts, and other garments, which makes them easier to put on or take off and allows men and boys to urinate without lowering the garment. The term is also used of overcoats, where a design of the same shape is used to hide a row of buttons. This style is common on a wide range of coats, from single-breasted Chesterfields to covert coats.

An open fly is a fly that has been left unzipped or unbuttoned.

Trousers have varied historically in whether or not they have flies. Originally, trousers did not have flies or other openings, being pulled down for sanitary functions. The use of a codpiece, a separate covering attached to the trousers, became popular in 16th-century Europe, eventually evolving into an attached fall-front (or broad fall). The fly-front (split fall) emerged later. The panelled front returned as a sporting option, such as in riding breeches, but is now hardly used, flies being by far the most common fastening. Most flies now use a zip, though button flies continue in use.

Tenchu

Tenchu (天誅) is an action-adventure stealth video game series, originally developed by Acquire, where the player assumes the role of a ninja. The title in Japanese literally translates in English as: "Divine Retribution", with 天 (ten), meaning heaven and 誅 (chu), meaning death penalty (another translation of this phrase, Wrath of Heaven is the title of the first PlayStation 2 entry in the series).

Plot

The series takes place in 16th-century feudal Japan. The original story (Stealth Assassins) revolves around two ninjas, Rikimaru and Ayame, who have both been members of the Azuma ninja clan since childhood. The two ninjas serve the benevolent Lord Gohda and work for him as his secret spies to root out corruption and gather intelligence in his province. However, the evil demonic sorcerer Lord Mei-Oh sought to destroy Lord Gohda, and using his demon warrior Onikage, wreaked havoc throughout Lord Gohda's province. Although Mei-Oh was killed in the first game, Onikage appeared in all subsequent games (except Fatal Shadows and Tenchu Z) as the archenemy of the two ninja, especially Rikimaru. Another major character who shows up frequently is Princess Kiku, Lord Gohda's daughter who is often the damsel in distress.

Four Hitokiri of the Bakumatsu

The Four Hitokiri of the Bakumatsu (幕末四大人斬り, Bakumatsu Shidai Hitokiri) was a term given to four samurai during the Bakumatsu era in Japanese history. The four men were Kawakami Gensai, Kirino Toshiaki (also known as Nakamura Hanjirō), Tanaka Shinbei, and Okada Izō. They opposed the Tokugawa shogunate (and later, supported the Meiji Emperor). These four samurai were warrior elite and widely considered undefeatable by normal people. The word hitokiri literally means "manslayer" or "man cutter," as the kanji 人 means person, while 斬 can alternatively mean slay or cut.

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (known in Japan as Tenchu 3) is an action-adventure stealth game developed by Capcom subsidiary development studio K2 LLC and published by Activision worldwide and From Software in Japan for the PlayStation 2 in 2003. It was later ported to the Xbox in 2004 under the title Tenchu: Return From Darkness and to the PlayStation Portable in 2009.

Plot

After Mei-Oh was defeated in Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Rikimaru was left in Mei-Oh's fortress carrying a giant boulder to provide an escape route for Ayame and Princess Kiku. He appears to be trapped and left for dead. Ayame stuck Rikimaru's sword, "Izayoi" (he is seen drawing this sword in the opening CG of Wrath of Heaven) in snow as a monument for her fellow ninja, now considered dead. A year later, Rikimaru reports to Lord Gohda that he has managed to survive this near-death experience; unbeknownst to them, the real Rikimaru is trapped in the 20th century trying to find a way back to their time.
