Henna (ship)

MS Henna is a Holiday-class cruise ship owned by the Chinese company HNA Cruise Company, Limited around the West Pacific region. At 47,000 tons, Henna is a medium-sized ship, and was the first and largest luxury cruise liner in mainland China, with 739 passenger cabins and a maximum passenger capacity of 1,965, including nine suites with balconies, 432 ocean-view staterooms and 298 interior staterooms.

History

Henna was built in 1986 by Kockums Varv, Malmö, Sweden, for Carnival Cruise Lines as Jubilee, along with near-sister ship Celebration. The other near-sister ship of the class, Holiday, was built earlier by Aalborg Værft in Aalborg, Denmark.

In 2004, the vessel was transferred to P&O Cruises Australia and renamed Pacific Sun. Pacific Sun arrived in Australia in November 9, 2004, and began year-round cruises from Sydney to the South Pacific and Tropical North Queensland. From late 2007, she was based at Brisbane, and was then the largest year-round liner to be based in Queensland. After receiving a multimillion-dollar makeover, she sailed in all white colours, like P&O's other ships, along with new amenities.Pacific Sun was the only ship of three sisters (with Grand Celebration and Grand Holiday) whose funnel was changed upon leaving the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet; her sister's funnels were simply painted over and not changed, while Sun had Carnival's iconic wings removed, and patched the hole where they use to be. Carnival's first new build ship, the slightly older Tropicale (Now MS Ocean Dream), also had her Carnival funnel removed, and replaced with Costa Cruises's round stove-pipe funnel.

The fictional A.I. entity originally known as Ship has appeared in several incarnations in the Marvel Universe. At times controlled by both the X-Men and their enemies, the sentient A.I. has at times been installed in the core of a Celestial starship, two space stations, and a techno-organic being. It is not related to Star-Lord's "Ship".

Ancient history

Ship's A.I. was created untold millennia ago by the Celestials as the operating system for a data collection device. The Celestials had genetically manipulated humanity, and they left the Ship in the area that would come to be known as Mongolia to monitor humanity's progress.

Circa 1100 A.D., a Mongolian immortal known as Garbha-Hsien (later known as Saul), discovered the Ship and lived next to it while he researched its mysteries. Saul never attempted to enter the Ship.

In time, the Egyptian immortal En Sabah Nur learned of Saul and sought him out as another immortal. In a confrontation, En Sabah Nur slew all of Saul's guards. Saul then sought to humble his fellow "forever-walker" by revealing the secret titanic vessel. Having had previous experience with futuristic technology due to his encounters with Rama-Tut, Nur attacked Saul and left the other immortal for dead and entered the Ship. He emerged later as a vastly changed being who now called himself Apocalypse.

Henna

Henna (Lawsonia inermis, also known as hina, the henna tree, the mignonette tree, and the Egyptian privet) is a flowering plant and the sole species of the Lawsonia genus. The English name "henna" comes from the Arabic حِنَّاء‎ (ALA-LC: ḥinnāʾ; pronounced [ħɪnˈnæːʔ]) or, colloquially حنا‎, loosely pronounced as /ħinna/.

The name henna also refers to the dye prepared from the plant and the art of temporary body art (staining) based on those dyes (see also mehndi). Henna (film)

Heena is the name of a 1991 Bollywood film produced and directed by Randhir Kapoor and starring his brother Rishi Kapoor, Ashwini Bhave (both of India) and Zeba Bakhtiyar (of Pakistan) also renowned as Neha Seti. It was shot in Kashmir. This film's project was planned and started by legendary director Raj Kapoor but due to his demise during the filming stage, the remaining portions were directed by his son Randhir Kapoor. Hence, this film is considered as the last film of Raj Kapoor. The film was an Indo-Pak project, hence the dialogues of the film were written by the Pakistani legendary writer Haseena Moin on Raj Kapoor's personal request. The film was a critical and a commercial success and was also India's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.

Plot

The story revolves around the mistaken straying (due to a car accident which also caused him to suffer amnesia) of Rishi Kapoor into the Pakistani side of Kashmir from his own home in Srinagar . A native girl called Henna (Zeba Bakhtiar), falls in love with him , amidst the controversial Indian-Pakistani tension on Kashmir which leads him to be suspected by the Pakistani police of being an Indian spy.
